Obviously several other porsters have done a great job with post-game analysis so I won't pretend to add to any of that.

What I saw were a few other imtangibles that, while not perfect, are encouraging.

OL Play
- Far from even average ACC yet, BUT improved
- Notice far fewer TFLs/no gains?
-- For aeveral years now, against Bethunes and So Missus, run game was still most stifled
-- Under Mario/Mirabal tutelage, RBs are gaining yards per play...not world beaters but **** of alot better than what we have seen prior
-- These improvements aren't RB generated, but rather better something, anything from much maligned OL unit
LBs/Defense
- Flagg and Steed have played far better than we've seen
-- Is it Strong? Steele? Probably both and what was a HUGE liability in past is now at least neutral and maybe slight postive
- Tackling is night and day difference than past few years
-- Not great by any means, but not Mich St abomination either (see Texas's HUGE sack miss on Bama last drive...ouch)...its encouraging
- Overall, Miami's on field presence just feels....more professional, better product on the sidelines and field of play

We need to be patient and allow Mario space to build a roster...while we ALWAYS keep banner plane engines warm, let's wait to fly them until Y3

I'll say this, and I have no hope of this happening, but if this team can improve throughout the year and fix some of these problems they'll be a very solid team by year's end.

It feels like the stuff that can't be fixed is not astronomical. We have holes, for sure, but I think the ceiling is fairly high.

But I've also seen Miami teams fall victim to their flaws and snowball.
