Funny thing about expectations.

Everyone expected a 10-2 season before this season began. We are right on track for that exact finish, minus the ark state win due to game cancellation.

Now it seems like people are gonna riot or cry for months if we actually finish the way most predicted and expected, 9-2.

Everyone knows this isn't an nc team. What Richt is doing with a limited, transfer candidate in rosier who everone dismissed as a jag is a minor miracle. Yet we continue to hear the same tired whining about "imaginative play-calling". People complaining about too many deep passes then a second later complaining about too many short passes.

The entire philosophy on offense is to limit Rosiers mistakes. That's it. Yet peopl equate that with unimaginative play calling as if Richt forgot how to call fancier route trees or motion or whatever other garbage you hear from know nothing's drinking in some random sports bar.

Bottom line people need to step back and get some perspective on things. We are EXACTLY where most of us expected we would be.

Bottom line we need to play way better in order to win the next couple games. This is Miami we should win every game regardless who the players are.

The reality is that on paper we are better than any team on our schedule, other than FSU and we beat them.

Yeah I think a 10 win regular season is what most expected and a lot thought we were a year away. I'm trying to just enjoy the ride, but this win didn't feel like a win.

What did I just read?

If the entire offense was built to keep Rosier from making mistakes why are we throwing the ball so much? Does that also explain our lack of counters, pre snap motion, sweeps, and pitches? When we run the ball, it’s the same exact **** every ******* time. 7 games into the season and I don’t think we have pitched the ball out once.

I’m a huge Richt guy, but you are blinded if you don’t think there are serious issues with the play calling.

Before the season, all I cared about was beating FSU, now I want and expect it all. I am not in any way upset by this team. They have won every game without needed to play above their heads. They have plenty on ceiling left for the later games.

It's not the record people have an issue with, it's how the games go. Unc was 1-7 yet the game was essentially a nail biter. Our defense puts us in position to put teams away but our offense can't do anything. How many three and outs did we have today after the defense got a turnover. Same thing with Syracuse. That is why people are frustrated
