What Randy sh-t storm? Randy lost 48-0 in his FIRST season, not his FITH season, because he wasn't given a 5th season. And what was our record after losing to USF? 7-5 right? So why does that loss carry so much hate behind it, when we suffered a helluva worst *** whuppins than that under Folden and Cmr? Not a personal shot dude, just asking? This whole thing started because another blogger felt the need to bring up Shannon's lost to USF, which had absolutely nothing to do with this thread, and when I called him out for it he accused me of race baiting, when even Stevie Wonder can see why he brought Shannon up in the first place! Why didn't he bring up CMR and Manny's losses, which were more recent than a USF loss a decade ago???

Care to enlighten us common folk as to how and why Shannon didn't have the support that the tie guy did? This should be entertaining.

As for who was worse, let me ask you a question. If you have two steaming piles of crap and are asked which smells worse, does it really matter? They both stink, there is no real winner.

Both were literal failures here.

Good god, man, I dont know how I got sucked into this. Im not the one arguing with you that randy is worse than golden. I dont care who is worse of our former coaches. You said going to #2 with shot at playoff and then losing to pitt and blowing it was way worse than the OB blowout and the usf game. I just said that's stupid, as of course those two arent comparable. That's it, that's all I said. I dont hate randy shannon, at all. You've got the wrong guy.

Still trying to figure out what was so horrible about this???? Were we ranked? Was this a conference loss? Did this knock us outta title contention? What gives? This loss dropped us to 7-5, and gave USF its 7th victory of the season , so again, what's so embarrassing about this?
 
By the way, there is no loss worse than Shannon's UVA loss on the old girls last stand as a stadium. That was the worst loss in the history of the program. Clemson beating our *** under Golden was a terrible loss as well, but Clemson was a pretty good team that year, yes?

Ultimately, both bad losses. It is what it is.

You don't understand what was horrible about losing to USF? A team that was second or even third tier at the time? Your kid brother if you will?

One guy didn't get a fith year. One guy never made over million dollars a year, nor was he allowed to hire who he wanted, like the previous coach that got to hire his inexperienced son and was allowed to give 750k to his runnings back coach. And despite all that the coach in question had us ranked 3 of his 4 years.

That's more embarrassing than losing to Duke....IN FOOTBALL? Check USF records and draft picks during that period and get back to me. Yall come up with the dumbest crap simply to discredit Randy....smh

Last time I checked 58-0 is more than 48-0.
 
The 2010 USF Bulls finished their season 8-5 , including a 23-20 victory over Clemson in the Meineke Car Care bowl. They opened the 2011 season by upsetting #16 Notre Dame in South bend, but our loss was more embarrassing than Notre Dame and Clemson's? Can yall please come up with something better than this?

Stfu and Golden coaches in the nfl. Both Golden and Shannon are ****** head coaches but I’d take Al over Randy. At least Golden could evaluate talent well.

Randy coached some of the best talent that's ever came through UM and Folden inherited his kids, so you stfu Maga hat! Golden had more double digit losses than any coach in UM history but no need to explain why you would prefer him over Randy, I already know why! And there's a big difference between being a coordinator in college and a position coach in the nfl! Plenty of former UM coaches that became position coaches in the NFL, like Jethro Franklin, so that ain't saying much! NEXT! lol

None of that can even compare to losing to the worst P6 team in the nation GT, who was transitioning from a triple option to whatever the fvck they are transitioning too.
