When Herman walked into Houston, it was in a much better situation in terms of talent and notoriety. If Fuente wins today, what more do you want? That would be 13 straight wins at Memphis.

If you look at most NFL mock draft websites, it seems like there's about 6 or 7 Ole Miss players going in the first couple rounds. And Fuente has a team made up of an average recruiting class ranked 90th playing with their hair on fire.

This is amazing. And unlike Folden, he's actually got some impressive accomplishments. Double digit wins in his second season. One of the longest win streaks in NCAA football. Working over a stacked Ole Miss team this half.

We could do a lot worse than Fuente.

Which means there's no way we're going to get him.

We won't fire Golden until the end of the season. By that point Fuentes will have been contacted by everyone who has a more proactive AD than we do.
