There’s no way UT or Nebraska is a better job.
Nebraska is a far more pedigreed team than the wannabe Florida Gators, also known as the “Florida Floppers”, “Cowardly Gators”, “Raiford Prison’s Holding Cell”, etc. Until Spurrier the Gators were a side show at a traveling carnival. And today, they are back to their rightful spot in college football. Nebraska has regularly been a powerhouse back to 1890.
Nebraska has more victories against Power Five opponents than any other program, as well as the third most victories all-time, behind only Michigan and Texas. Nebraska also has the most wins and the highest winning percentage of any program over the last 50 years. Two of Nebraska's national championship-winning teams, the 1971 and 1995 teams, are considered to be among the best college football has ever seen.
Nebraska claims 46 conference championships and five national championships. Also, the 2011–2012 Alabama Crimson Tide, the 1994–1995 Nebraska Cornhuskers, and the 1956–1957 Oklahoma Sooners are the only Division I-A teams to win consensus back-to-back national titles. Nebraska also has had five undefeated seasons in which they were not the national champions.
The Huskers hold the NCAA record of consecutive sellouts currently at 359 games (as of Oct. 14, 2017), the "Sea of Red" provides one of the most exciting game-day experiences in all of college football. The sellout streak dates back to November 3, 1962.
