...someone who can handle the plethora of negative national press the firing of Taggert will cause. Clearly, FSU needs to shift the narrative away from a minority hire not being afforded a real chance, to something more the media will rally around. Luckily for FSU, Kirk Herbstreit provided the template with his rant about FSU wanting to fight. Further fortune for FSU is in the form of an easy, in-state hire for AD, one that can confront this toxic masculinity crisis head on:

Yes FSU admin, we hate to lose Jennifer to another school, a rival at that, but the serious issues you have transcend such petty things as football.

She would be such a loss, but at least she didn't help hire a coach who bankrupts the boosters, right? Please, FSU. Don't steal Strawly from us! Or Blake James!!

She’s the face of fighting icky man sports. File under sht bama don’t do.

Interesting article about the state of the semenhole program.
Not to mention the toxic culture surrounding the football team. Only way a coach takes that job is with a massive safety net.

Personally, I'd hand it over to Jim Leavitt for a year or two. They need a tough SOB to get the players straightened out, and he's about as tough as they come. If they aren't toughened up and disciplined, that team will fail no matter how brilliant the new HC is.

It's a damned if you do, damned if you don't situation for us. When they suck like they do now, it diminishes the rivalry and the conference. Probably helps us in recruiting while they're down. It'll be interesting to see what direction they take for sure.

What is this shadowy "Seminole Boosters" BS? Sounds to me like they are the ones truly controlling the athletic department, and they sound like a bunch of petulant inbreds not unlike our worst fans, except that they have money.

Here is an article outlining the Seminole Boosters and the new organization at FSU (Their logo was painted on the field Saturday, if you didn't notice):

Of course, you can get the UFeloney spin on it, courtesy of ever reliable '**** mouthpiece, Mike Biotchi of the Orlando Daily Worker:
