FSU whining about officiating

After that final drive where the officials kept making up penalties against UVA, FSU is whining about the officiating. They say the officials should have stopped the clock 3 seconds earlier.

They also whine about the calls on UVA’s last scoring drive.

Holy ****. This is unbelievable. The truth is that the game should have basically ended when FSU’s 4th and 10 pass from their own 25 fell incomplete. Instead the officials made up a pass interference against FSU and called a penalty on Mendenhall for correctly complaining about the bogus call. Then they invented a roughing the passer on a later 4th and 5 play, and another PI.

The first penalty on the drive was horse **** regarding PI on UVA. UVA defended that pass well and would've resulted in a loss of downs.

They sure have the excuses; In the first game the HC said they were cramping, he needed to check with his trainer how they were hydrating. Whaaaaat? A Florida team playing at home against a team from snow skiing country and they were the ones cramping up. Don't go chasin' waterfalls....

Wow....home cooking clock at the end. Inexcusable for that to happen. FSU wasn't whining based on that nonsense. They should file a grievance. Glad the Canes don't have to go there to play if UV that desperate to win. Canes fans need to have a little home cooking of our own when they show up at Hard Rock. Total bush league.

Agree, on the field, with UVA and the officials. Even though we’re at home, home cooking is not something we get afforded often,if ever. Just need to Learn, Grow and Improve every practice, every game week to week. *** everyone else and the officials P.S.... Congrats to Jimmy Murphy CanesNation poster boy of the week.

a lot of teams this weekend should have a beef with the officiating... the Michigan state vs Arizona state was a ****show.... officiating has been really **** poor all year.

Clock operator screwed them out of a few seconds but refs allowed them to get away with illegal motion (Blackmon and Akers were both moving before the snap) and I think it was an illegal formation as well so it was for not anyway because either one of those penalties end the game

The ACC is trash across the board save Clemson, like we all expected going into the year. Both FSU and Virginia mediocre as ****. The officiating won't change that. We can't keep losing to teams that we should beat handily by 2+ TDs.
