FSU week and this place is a ******* cemetery!

I said it in another thread. This is probably the least excited I've ever been for FSU week. Nothing to play for. No spoilers, no ranked matchup, divisional goals are just about done. Both fan bases don't want to watch another game until someone gets the pink slip. Both fear winning this game prolongs their coaching staff's welcome.
Funny you mention the pink slip. Derrick Brooks was on my flight this morning (wearing an FSU backpack). Before boarding I go up to him (wearing a Canes polo and visor) and ask if he thought Willie would get another year. He said he thought he would. Didn't seem too thrilled that I had on Canes gear either that or bc it was 8 o'clock in the morning and some random guy was asking him a question lol.

I just want the win, doesn't matter how it comes. Really feel it could go either way as they always can. I just would have a very hard time picking either as the winner if I had money on it.

I got no problem with that, I'm just saying why would anybody be surprised that most fans aren't overly energized about this game...

There's absolutely no reason to expect anything out of this game other than bad football. Win, lose or draw, it's going to be an awful ugly game to watch, penalties, blown assignments, missed kicks & missed tackles galore.

It's the Corching Super Bowl between Manny & Taggart.

Pretty much.

I feel like maybe they'll cancel each other out and we'll get an entertaining game as neither coach, at least on paper, will school the other.

This is gonna be the ugliest football game played since that 2016 TENN vs florida game I think it was, maybe 2017?

both teams couldn't figure out how to lose to the other.

Probably the biggest ****show of a game I've ever had the pleasure to watch. It's the one I expect to see on Saturday.

This game has that 2007 vibe to me. Not a well played game but both teams giving their all. I think a lot of Canes fans had already given up that year also. When Freeman hit Dedrick Epps in the endzone with less than a minute, it was great to be a Hurricane!!

Realest thing ever written

It’s been a ****** season, but still an important game from a sales approach. We need as much ammo as possible for recruiting. I’ll be wound up with booze and whatever else may fall in my lap and cheering on the Canes like we are 8-0 and in the chase for it all. As always...

GO CANES!

How exactly do you expect fans to react after a loss?

Have yall watched any games this season? We play like sh*t every fckin week & have difficult games against teams that have significantly less talent than us... You think fans are gonna be jumping for joy after games like that?

We're 4-4 with one of the worst offenses in College football right now, what exactly are we supposed to be excited about?
We're playing our archrivals. That should be good enough. Even if we're the worst .This game we hope , pray, gather up what little testicular fortitude we have left, and go out and try to beat them mofos. ***** the Moles we're Canes. With the heart of the underdog not the yellow streak of the egg sucking dog.
You're my man, Godfather. I just wanted to put my two cents in. Respect...

I don't disagree with you at all...

It's just this season has been such a let down people just aren't falling for the Banana in the tailpipe anymore.

We don't know what version of this team will show up, we're just too poorly coached & undisciplined to galvanize any kind of confidence from the fans on a week to week basis. The moment you start to think this team is going to finally put it all together & play it's best football, they come out & lay an egg (see Va Tech).

I think most people just don't trust Diaz to have this team prepared & ready to go for a big rivalry game, fans are in the "I'll believe when I see it" phase of expectations with this team.

Of course I hope we win, but there's not many reasons to believe we will, not saying we won't just saying it's not like we have any advantages in this game besides our DLine vs their OL, but other than that everything else is a push.

Whether we win or lose, it's probably going to be a bad game on both sides of the ball, I just hope we don't get blown out & figure out a way to win, but I'm not holding my breath & not expecting anything other than Corching 101 to go down.

Which version? If anything, Miami has been consistent all year.

I have zero excitement for this game. This is a win/win for me. Beat FSU? Great! Lose? One game closer to getting Blake fired. I think FSU wins 27-17.
