I gotta say, I do understand now how other teams must’ve felt watching us in 2017. Knowing we were a good team, but playing way above our level due to some insane luck.
Sure. There's a team like it most years. ****, TCU got to the FINAL last year!

We had some bad luck too. Folks forget that we lost our starting RB at the beginning of the season. I think the offense was supposed to run through Walton, but after he got injured Richt had to put more on a forgotten 3 star QB who hadn't paid attention in the film room since he got to UM. I think we would have seen a different offense if Walton had been healthy. Now whether that offense would gave been better or worse is an open question. Also UM got hit especially hard with the injury bug at the end of the season.

We did. A health Malik, Walton, Herndon, and Ahmon makes that team a real contender.

It was a fun team to watch.

I predicted the Pitt loss though, when I read that Richt had purchased 500 lbs. of turkey and threw a huge Thanksgiving dinner the night before the game, I knew we were screwed. We had a Friday game against an extremely physical opponent that saw us as their bowl game, and we were on the road in the freezing cold. This where Richt being a nice guy bit us in the a$$. I get the desire to give the players a fun evening, but save that for after the game.

He’s also one of the oldest players in the country.
I live in Tally and thought the same thing and said that to some Noles girl I know that's 24 and she told me she met him when he was a freshman and she was a year older. I didn't believe that so I looked it and he'll be 24 in May and almost all of the top QB's we're hearing about this year, with the exception of Maye, are his age or older. We've also got Grandpa Cam on our team at either 25 or 26!

Yeah, they played clemson well though. Didn't think they'd get railed like that today

I know I'm going to get hammered for this, but maybe Clemson isn't that good. Whats their most impressive game - a close loss to FSU at home? Syracuse?
