FSU vs New Mexico St.

Agreed. They legit could not block New Mexico State for decent stretches of the game. What in the world is our DL gonna do to them??? One game doesn’t make a season but, their OL looks to be considerably worse than last season.

Did the twins make a single play?

Nail on the head with eye discipline from the DBs. Safeties way out of position several times.

All in all, in general, they look small and slow. They have a few good kids, obviously Duce is solid and Kromah has good wiggle for a bigger back. Singleton looks decent. Weisner looked slow as **** to me. They’re just a very average team. Poor coaching, as usual. Several bad penalties and awful decisions. Daniels is exactly who he’s been for his whole career…consistently inconsistent. They just don’t have a lot of good football players at all. I don’t think we’d take more than 10 kids off their whole roster, which is insane to think about but it’s true. And it might be less. They just have virtually no high-end talent.

If we play a semi-decent game we are going to embarrass them. Again.

I read on 247 from there “scout” guy that the twins are basically try hard guys who got stats last year because of effort and offense lines focus on Darrell Jackson.

No Jackson this year or anyone who demands attention and opposing OL focusing on them doesn’t bode well for them, especially if NMSU tackles could neutralize them so effectively.

FSU reportedly paid high six figures to each of them. The other DL they spent big money on from A&M, Rylan Kennedy, was also ineffective .

FSU was outplayed in the trenches by NMSU. They're down so bad it's almost unbelievable.
Breaks my heart...

SMU game was off the board all night last night they just reopened it at -3.5. **** me. I went in around 8:00 last night was gonna put 500 on SMU it was -1.5 I think before yesterday.

They were what? A 30 point favorite? They're lucky to have won by 17.

He has to play SMU, @ Alabama, Virginia and @ Louisville before playing us. I would be shocked if he's still the HC during their bye week.

Blasphemy! I could have sworn the Desir twins were the 2nd coming of Reggie White and Myles Garrett.

Yeah, they were pretty ineffective last night. They didn't necessarily get bullied, but I did not see them dominating and blowing up the line. The only one on FSU's d-line that was getting a consistent rush or push was #32. He was causing problems for the left OT and putting pressure on the qb. That's not really saying much since NMSU has a terrible o-line.

They basically look like the same team as last year with worse DB and QB play. Their RB is good. We should win by 3 TDs+.

My primary observations of FSU:

- Their QB & passing Offense in general is pedestrian
- Their WR's are very average & struggle with creating separation at the top of their routes against Man coverage
- They have a versatile RB group
- Their OL is noticeably thin

- Their Secondary, particularly their Safeties have bad eye discipline in reading their keys
- They bring a lot of pressure with their LB's

- The team overall looks well conditioned

Miami is gonna beat this team by 3-4TD's.

Our DLine will completely disrupt Ashton Daniels & our Secondary is locking down this WR group.
if we only beat THAT team at home by 3 or 4 TD's I will be Highly disappointed.

pay back for 45-3 Mario or fly the **** planes

Keep in mind this was NM-State’s backup QB that was torching the Free Shoes University secondary.

Gonna be a long year for them. Can’t wait to watch the train immediately come off the tracks.

I guess the angle for the sports books is that they think FSU might be able to run against a rebuilt SMU defensive line?

Jennings should be able to carve up that FSU second though.

FSU has still not suffered nearly enough. we still owe them a few terrible beatings as get back from the jimbo years.
The funny thing is a few of those games under Golden were winnable. They were gifted that 2016 win in CMR's first season.
