Man what the **** you talking bout......***** yo mama a *****. All I said what happens in 1 game doesn’t mean that itwill happen in our game. It's gonna be up to UM to dictate the outcome.
And you also said you were educated. Yeah that was you.

This you?

And it takes a team....duhh

That was you about FSU getting a QB no big deal you called UM fan base puzzies for some people saying we had things to prove.

Now all of a sudden after one game you like Miami better come to play against FSU lmao.

******* and mamas? Dude you like 12? You ran your hole…I just called out your hypocrisy or “change of heart” that is a nicer way to put it.

Maybe next time don’t be so quick to criticize mutha****as when you are as clueless as the next mutha****a.

I think we are becoming friends you and I

Man whatvthe **** you talking bout? Go find someone else to play with....I'm not the one.

My close friend is a Bama fan, very dialed in, works in the sports industry. He was excited by the Deboer hire at first. Said the guy is VERY low energy and has absolutely zero ability to motivate or rally. His hope was last year was a result of the OC not following him and this year would be improved with him joining. I don’t think Deboer forgot how to coach, but I do think it may be a combination of 1) feasting on the PAC10, 2) a bad culture fit and 3) you never want to be the guy that follows the GUY.
I don’t think there are very many people in coaching that are a fit for a program like Alabama. Especially following Saban. Its like the rebound girlfriend. It feels like a good option in the moment but It usually isn’t a fit for long term.

Agreed, but what also didn’t help him is Saban keeping an office at their facility. But it’s not just limited to this. You want to be the guy that follows the guy who followed the guy. However, as we saw, it’s a really easy to have 2-3 bad hires in a row, and then you’re digging out of a real hole. This is no inside information but if Deboer doesn’t work out, I bet they will go someone from the Saban tree or with Bama ties. Cignetti? Key? Lanning?

Alabama fans need to accept the Saban-era level of success will never happen again. Conference realignment, the transfer portal, NIL, and revenue sharing have somewhat leveled the playing field. Nikki had very little competition in the SEC until Kirby Smart left for UGA. Georgia has fallen off a bit.

I agree, Georgia has taken a step back. I don’t think we will see long sustained levels of dominance like Saban had anymore. NIL doesn’t allow teams to stockpile 5 stars, 3 deep at every position. Nobody wants to wait their turn and they want too much money.

Still can’t believe castellanos talked all that **** before the game and bama just rolled over. Something is rotten in tuscaloosa
The weakest inside run defense I've seen from Alabama in the last decade. Not sure if it's the dudes or the system but previous would not have let castellanos take stroll after stroll up the middle.

This is just terrible logic.
I think it’s terrible logic to have expectations tempered when the roster/resources are top 10-15.

The last two years have multiple examples of heavy 8-9 win turnarounds with us now holding the best roster the last 25 years at Miami.

No first year QB won a ranked matchup yesterday. I expect and it should be expected that Miami suffocates ND today in bad weather with a limited arm first year starter.

I could easily break down deeper why 12-0 should be the option/standard but I don’t need to. The results of others with less showcase it.

Go Canes.

Let me also say this about FSU, I loved their DC hire Tony White. I wanted him when Mario got hired to come run the defense. He has been successful everywhere he has been, he is a Rocky Long disciple the author of that 3-3 front, and defensive mastermind.

They wont be easy to score and move ball consistently this year.

This is why I will personally put a * by Sabans name. As I and many others have said over the years is when you pay players, openly in some cases(see Tua getting his family flown down) and the NCAA looking the other way, then well, you get the idea. This is what will lead to the Boise State's of the world occasionally get into the CFP.

All true, but we need to stop discrediting Saban's impact at Alabama from a day to day procedure.

He wasn't just buying any 5 star or 4 star. He wasn't Jimbo at 8&4.

Saban created and fostered a culture at Bama that infused every corner of the program from players to coaches to analysts to administrative assistants. There was a standard in how everything would be done, and it's that meticulous attention to every detail that allowed Bama to do what they did under Saban's guidance.

Money helps to build a roster but look at the other programs that spent a **** ton during Saban's tenure: Texas, UGA, ND, etc. What were they consistently able to accomplish? Sure, Kirby won during Saban's tenure, but he essentially applied the Saban model to UGA.

the way deboer runs it is different than saban.

Dabo brings his guys and then hires the guys he coached and then promotes like that because thats how he got the job at clemson.

The ad likely panicked and the agent sold on the shiny objet of Deboer. Dabo likely would have had to be pried a bit away from clemson in that moment. And he seems loyal to staff probably more than any opther hc so didnt uproot...but please believe if its a planned thing hes at the top of list for the most part.
Dabo is finally hiring from outside the program. Riley is in Year 2 (or 3) as offensive coordinator and Dabo’s new defensive coordinator is the former head coach at Indiana and defense coordinator from Penn State.

clemson had GREAT QB PLAY BEFORE TREVOR LAWRENCE. **** they go back to Charlie Whitehurst pretty much on a run of good to great qb play. Plus its a rinky dink gimmick offense anyway.

Part of the issue they had was they ALSO missed at ELITE WRS. Look at that wr run they had as well. They are getting back to that with id say their last 2-3 recruiting classes.
Definitely missing elite skill players.

Bama folks won't want another up and comer after DeBoer.

They will only be satisfied with Dabo or Lanning.
deboar has accomplished more than lanning with less talent.

the real solution is that bama doesnt have the massive talent advantage it used to under saban due to NIL and there is far more parity now as a result.
