FSU vs Alabama

This INFUSED and REVITALIZED a dead fanbase

This is going to be bad for REALIGNMENT… now their viewership numbers will be up AGAIN

He threw the ball 14 times yesterday. Let’s pump the brakes. Great win for fsu though, obviously. Jaylin Lucas being back makes a big difference for them. He might be one of the 3 fastest kids in the league. But Castellanos isn’t winning games having to throw the ball 30+ times.

What’s crazy he’s not the fastest on his team. Danzy holds the 400m record in the ACC.

Reading this entire thread from scratch stone cold for the first time Sunday morning was one of the funniest things I’ve ever read on this board in retrospect and watching the evolution as the game progressed was pretty ******* awesomely funny too.

I was stunned at how good FSU played. DeBoer issues are big and he’s a good coach, but he may not be a good coach for Alabama.

I’m glad I have no receipts in here though lol

The only thing Dabo is really missing, is an infusion of Portal talent.

He relies too much on HS recruits who take much longer to develop, while the top teams they play every year have fully adjusted & compound their rosters with experienced veteran Portal players who are already acclimated to intense CFB play.

He's too stubborn; if he would just get with the times & integrate Portal prospects into his roster building, it would probably be enough to put them back in Natty contention.
The problem with relying exclusively on high school is that you have to hit on all of your high school evaluations. With the portal, you have CFB game film to go by.

I’m not ready to completely bury someone after 1 start but Simpson was terrible yesterday.

Even at the easy stuff. Like a HS QB has the awareness to run for this first down. He could’ve walked for 7 yards. But he makes a ****** throw, turnover on downs.

He was totally unimpressive yesterday.

This is the play that shows this guy doesn't have 'it'. And he was a dual threat QB!

I’m glad I didn’t post either. None of these posts have aged well LOL.😂

Great for the ACC that they won, and better to beat them when they aren't.... pathetic.

With that said, I won't be taking a long position even if their new look offense looks great since its built around a 5-9 QB and a 5-7 Speedster both of whom ended their prior seasons with injuries.

This play blew my mind.

Bama as a team was a no show. Looked totally unprepared to play. Physically whipped in the trenches.

All you mutha****ers who think just because Simpson is struggling that Carr will do the same is in for a rude awakening. Can't believe I'm saying this, but FSU defense is BALLIN and making Simpson look bad. Miami has has to come out with this same intensity, aggression and vigor than, maybe we get the same results. If not it will be a long night. Also FSU is playing smart discipline football today.

This you?

Prove what and to who from? From 5-7 to 10-2.....looks like progression to me. This ******* fan base is the worst. Eventually thus program will stop making ***** of this soft shoulder fan base.

You sobbed like a little ***** when some made predictions and now you are what? Some said FSU was better than record with a QB and had us at home…

🤡

Next time don’t be so quick to criticize when you know absolutely **** about football.

All this game proved was that in MODERN CFB, there is no such thing as needing wait..

All a ruse. A 2-10 team blew out a #8 team YEAR ONE after 2-10.

Miami should go 12-0 this year. No excuses.

It’s time.

I mean we always knew Castellanos could run. That's having a major impact on the improvement of FSUs offense.
We all knew about Castellanos?

Is this you?

Uh you think they have a good QB now? Wonder how often good QBs get benched and basically kicked off the team...

Again…. Maybe you should sit out on the football boards? So FOS

Dabo would be a good fit at Bama. I doubt they would hire him without an agreement that he must use the transfer portal like a normal person

Castellanos is Jordan Travis. Not as strong a passer- at least as far as we have seen- but do t forget he almost beat Jordan Travis when he played for BC. He’s a pesky QB like Haynes King. Real killers in the right system

Deboer is toast. Culture is weak and soft. NIL or not them kids aren’t bought in. Saw it all last year as well.

Malzahn went to a championship with Nick Marshall. He is will win some games with this kid at QB. Match made in heaven for them. Their defense looked aggressive. DL is big but slow so I will see how they look as the year wears on.

FSU will be better this year due to their coaching changes.

Bama is 9 win team at best.

part of the post-mortem that’s going to be applied to Deboer whenever he gets fired is that A LOT of his wins at UW were close, single score games. In 2023 they won EIGHT by 1 score or less, with a team that had very good talent (10 players drafted in ‘24!). From a statistical standpoint, that implies a lot of luck.

This is his fourth year playing college football. Guys usually don’t just become accurate after three years. That doesn’t mean he can’t affect games with his running ability
He was right around a 60% completion guy at BC. All those INTs were a result of playing from behind most games.

9-14, with a couple drops, yesterday against Bama.
