FSU Trend

You must be mighty retarded - where were you the past three FSU weeks?

Didn't you see the results?

STFU.

I was at each one and tailgated hard. Last year I knew the odds were way against us but I still got excited for the game. This year the odds are much less and I'm excited as ever. Last year has nothing to do with next Saturday. What kind of "fan" isn't geared up for rivalry week. NC State fans had more balls than you when FSU came to town last month.

Well, we won't talk about how exactly you're so familiar with my balls.

For the record, I'm sick and tired of losing to FSU. Tired of it.

That's why I want to see Golden vapor lock, take another job, or get fired - his pick. Losing to FSU with great consistency ****es me off.

But with the trend, and past letdowns, it's just hard to work up another excitement, only to have to put up with FSU fans and all their crap for another year.

With your view point I'd expect you to be pumped for this game, because regardless you still would have something to celebrate. If we win, we end FSU's 25 straight wins, end their 4 straight wins against us, and most importantly if we win, we ruin their national championship hopes. And if we lose you can still hope that Golden will be fired.
I think you're gunna want Golden fired no matter what, even if the defense shuts down every offense we play the rest of the year, we ruin FSU's championship hopes, and we make the ACC championship game.
Now, I wanted Golden fired last year. I extremely hate the defensive scheme (the one where we aren't aggressive). But all i'm saying is that us winning this game could finally be the turning point that we expected to happen last year. So why shouldn't we be excited about playing the #2 team in the country when they look completely vulnerable? And maybe you should wait until the season ends to fully judge if Golden should still be fired.

Good, reasonable post.

I knew after the Maryland game, he wasn't the one. Subsequent games just reinforced my conclusion.

When many of you were maybe playing college football, I was leading long range recon patrols and ambushes, and always vastly outnumbered, we had to be able to find character flaws fast, as there was no second place and we got no do-overs.

Golden has character flaws. Serious character flaws that will never enable a consistent high level of performance. He's a boulschitter, and he's in over his head. Golden couldn't lead a breakout from a two-hole outhouse.

Golden has no sense of the game. With real performers, real leaders, you have to have real intuition - almost to the point of precognition. Golden has none of that. None.

The team is currently ABLE to play. More to their talents. Before the previous three games, that was not allowed, it was not schemed for, and it was never adjusted to allow.

I'd like to see us win. But Golden is going to be one letdown after another, lucky at times, but then more inconsistent performances, as he lacks what good coaches/leaders have. He has core flaws.

The sooner he goes, the sooner we get to hunt for a true leader with intuition, and the sooner we get back in the top ten week after week after week.

I mean, Believe me, If after this year we could literally just change Golden for Narduzzi and get rid of Donofrio, every single poster here would be happy. But just being realistic, Golden isn't getting fired unless we lose out, and even then it's probably only 50/50. And yes he's a world class bull****er and has some very questionable decisions when it comes to recruiting. But these past few games, defensively we have played aggressive and lights out, and there is no denying that. the only question is if we continue with this aggression, and shut out the offenses we play, does Donofrio still get fired?

The things you all pick out about people. Golden jumps up and down with the players after a nice road blowout win and it is a problem. Pick on some real issues you have with the guy, not some BS like this. The fact of the matter is Golden and crew have been a lot better than they have been the last 3.5 years. If you are upset it took this long, fine. That is okay. At least admit the team is playing great and has it's best 3 game stretch in over 10 years against any level of competition.

I don't remember anything about the 2011 game. Was it close all game or did we score late to make it 23-19? Did we have the ball with a chance to win? The only thing I remember is Kacy Rogers completely bungling the chance at a pick and letting FSU score

We are losing a heartbreaker this week guys.

It's all for the better in the long run. Canes will probably give blood this week.

You seem to have an inordinate fascination with smooching goobers, and I'd suggest seeing a healthcare professional, or if you're into it as much as it appears from the frequencies you bring it up - and are feeling guilty or debased - just eat a bullet - less than a buck, and you're miserable existence is finished.

Randy was exactly like Golden in that he was in over his head. Randy didn't make many adjustments, with that thousand-yard-stare, more common among men in combat without sleep for 48-72 hours.

Golden doesn't have the thousand yard stare, but the game is much too fast for him too. The only thing he's done worth a crap is the past few games - letting the players play. It won't last - he's got some control issues - and right now he's desperate to keep his job. But he'll revert. He can't help himself.

I see you're a long time poster here with some 60-odd posts, and by the color of your reps, you've apparently impressed lots of folk with your football intelligence, aberrant sexual preferences, and glowing personality.

Go **** yourself.

I'll lay off el foldo until after this game. The team has played really well lately. Surprised they were able to stop UNC. In any case don't forget..... We don't play for moral victories. FSU is not that good this year....certainly not as last year. We have a ton of matchups in our favor....biggest one being our ability to run the ball and their inability to stop it....consistently and also that they are not that good at running it. Good coaches make this count. They win with Rapist arm, but he also puts them in bad positions with bad decisions. You force him into those. If they revert to backing off and have him carve us up, we will know for sure we have no chance under Golden. None

Good post.

Upside - FSU center a weakness, FSU QB is apparently distracted - he's nothing like last year. FSU Dline is nothing like last year, and they are susceptible to the run.

Downside - FSU will automatically amp up their concentration and physicality against Miami, and we don't know which defense will show up against FSU. Their Dline and outside rushers are going to be coming after Kaaya with their ears laid back.

Two different teams, but which FSU team will show up, and which Miami team will show up.

Eddie goldman and mario edwards are beasts take care of those two and then everything else should be manageable...they still have talent on D
