I won’t drone on and on about his offensive limitations because he is a nice young man (known him since he was 10 through AAU and my son) who was likely grossly misused by Coach Ham who has one foot out the door.
But Matthew needs to find his offensive game. He was not a great shooter in high school and do not expect him to make 3 point shots next year with any efficiency. He is not Jordan Miller; he is not nearly as skilled. But he is an incredible athlete, plays great in the passing lanes, especially in press defenses.
I am truly hoping that Coach L and staff can get his confidence back because last season he was an unwilling free throw line shooter and you can’t run an offense that way.
