Fsu QB is delusional

I don't think they have a chance at winning the ACC, but if the positions were swapped I would hope that my QB had that same confidence. Now that being said, if I was on Boston College last year I would be pretty ****ed off by his comments "now I'm with a squad".

Typical SemenHole-type, he talks a lot of **** about a team he doesn't have to face in 2025.

If F$U had to go to BC this year, I'd like to think BC would make it a red bandana game. And then gag Castellanos with a red bandana.

Figured you guys would get a good laugh from seeing this

He's right. They've got 6-7 games in them this year. Not sure what version of the acc he tore up though. His best year (the only one he wasn't benched in)yeah he rushed for 1k but he had 15 TDS with 14 picks... Not really sure why he was benched last year because technically he was better being at 18 & 5 but the rest of his stats didn't reflect him improving.

Yeah the tore up the acc part is what’s laughable they should win more then 2 games this year

Why? How is he a "gamer"?

I realize he looked good as a sophomore in 2023. Three big RUNNING days where he went for over 100 yards, including Army, GaTech, and (duh) Miami. But his PASSING on those (run) leg days?
---4 for 9 for 51 yards, 0 TDs, and 1 INT (WIN over Army)
---17 for 29 for 255 yards, 0 TDs, and 1 INT (WIN over GaTech)
---15 for 25 for 151 yards, 1 TD, and 2 INTs (LOSS to Miami)
And his 2 best passing performances in 2023 were both LOSSES (FSU and Louisville). Normally a "gamer" gets you more success than 7-6 in his best season.

Then you look at 2024. Top rushing day was 73 yards against FSU (he had SIX better days in 2023). His top passing day was 254 yards gainst UVa (he had THREE better days in 2023). YES, he beat F$U (and who didn't, at least in 2024). He was BENCHED against Syracuse and his backup QB (and the running backs) pulled out a win without him. In between those two book-ends, he won ZERO-POINT-ZERO other ACC games. He DID beat Duquesne, though, with his 2024-best QBR of 99.3, where he threw the ball 10 times and ran the ball once. So he went 4-4 in the games he started, though he certainly should not be credited with the Syracuse game in which he was benched for ineffectiveness.

Sooooooo, NOT a "gamer".
He had a good game against FSpoo in 23, passing for 305 and rushing for 95...nearly beating them and de-railing the "undefeated" season. but all that 305 was for 1TD and 1 INT.

OK, so he's a "one-gamer".

It is pretty funny that he ALMOST beat F$U in 2023 and then ACTUALLY beat F$U in 2024...

...but now he's "got a squad"...

Boy, WHAT a "squad"...

His performance against Miami in 2023 pretty much sums up his career. Big numbers on the ground because they were down 28-7 at halftime and Miami was more than happy to let them run the ball over and over in the second half. Terrible passing numbers because he’s not a good passer. I expect him to pad his rushing stats in games where they’re down big

Relax. My word. You are going to have a heart attack. First it is my opinion. And I really don't give two ***** what you think. I really don't. But Kid played for BC. Geez. He can provide a spark. And I think he is better than DJU. Will that get FSU more than 7 wins? I hope not, nor do I really care.

Same old deflection, when someone's misguided opinion is met head on with actual stats and facts.

Nobody needs to relax. Nobody is having a heart attack.

It's just funny that you call a guy who quit on his team a "gamer".

Wake up and look around. The thread is about dip**** Castellanos claiming that he "tore up" the ACC for the last two years and how now he "has a squad", thus he is DELUSIONAL, and then you chose to chime in by calling him a "gamer". But neither the stats nor the game results support either Castellanos' claims or your claims. A guy who quit on his team mid-season has now transferred to a 2-10 squad.

Now you are backpedaling to "can he provide a spark" and "he is better than DJU". Again, not really the issue.

Castellanos is NOT good. About 5 decent games 2 years ago and then an awful 2024 year. He's won half the games he started & finished.

Definitely not a gamer.

"I actually liked him at BC before he quit. Thought he was a gamer."
