Miami is stomping a mud hole in regards to recruiting head to head against both FSU and especially UF. The same needs to happen on the field next year with FSU. The portal is not a sustainable way to replenish talent.

These donkeys go 9-3 this year—losing to Wake Forest, a quarterback-less North Carolina State and punted by Clemson (before stat-padding and late scores) and some of y'all got pee dribbling down your leg like it's 2013 again, they're undefeated with Winston and Al Golden is still leading a program that looked headed for probation.

How about the fact Miami went 5-7 and has a Top 5 class and Florida State is 9-3 with the 18th-ranked class—Norvell not even able to clean up when the Canes missed a bowl and the Gators finished 6-7.

FSU is a joke. This year was peak-era Norvell. This is as good as it will get for those amateurs—two of those nine wins were against bad UM and UF teams, beat up on Duquesne and Louisiana. Stole one from LSU. Smashed around mid-tier ACC foes; Louisville, Boston College, Georgie Tech and Syracuse. Lost to all three ranked teams they played this year.

I disagree on the portal point. It’s very important. Most of your core roster still needs to be from the HS level. But there are impact transfers you can point to nationwide that were difference makers on every top team. Personally I thought Mario should’ve been even more aggressive last cycle in the portal. But ultimately I think he’s gunna do that this cycle after evaluating this roster..if your not looking to the portal year in and year out, your making a mistake..IE Clemson. There’s no reason they shouldn’t have gone in the portal for a OT, WR and DB help the last 2 years..they are a playoff team if they weren’t so stubborn

I think dudes system offensively is proven..until they run into some dawgs in the front 7..but yea they not winning championships if they can’t even flip a 9 win season to a top 10 class. That’s terrible for a program like FSU..what’s crazy is it’s like they don’t remember what type of recruiting it took under jimbo to be a national contender for a few yeas

True. they hit on benson, the LB from UCF, Wilson and verse..but going forward your hit rate isn’t likely to be that high..But that did get them that 9 win szn..heard they having a parade up there to celebrate..
