Can he recruit is the question.....NFL and college are way different. It's why some college coaches can't cut it

I know Bruce, he literally is a football ops/admin guy that will do nothing to help/hurt them on the field. Y’all are a trip lol.

Oooh, Kendal Briles and a washed-up Jim Leavitt—some real heavy hitters there. Swung for the fences and only landed Mike Norvell. Now some quality control guy from the NFL. Blah, blah, blah.

I'll save stroking off the Noles for the day all of this actually comes to fruition for them.

You're giving them credit for firing Taggart—while ignoring the fact they hired that moron in the first place, and he bailed with $17M of FSU's money when they canned him. Brilliant business decision there.

Clearly, it’s funny. They may be serious about football, but this move doesn’t prompt that response. Bruce literally earned his strips basically being a travel director under the Rams. Woooohhh, so spooky and means big **** for the Noles lmao.
 
Correct. This “move” doesn’t mean **** for the Semenholes. However, when compared to what our coaches have done this year, even some meaningless hire like this tends to generate some chatter.
 
They also got a RB transfer from A&M (not that we don't have RB's for days) - but it addresses a huge need for them.

And I think the RT from FIU just announced he is gonna grad transfer there. If i remember correctly this RT held Rousseau in check most of the game, right?
 
I see this no different than what was rumored to be in play with Highsmith. Maybe this might light a bulb in some noggins on the BOT.

They saw writing on wall and canned him. Norvill was a overturned call away from being undefeated. He won a conference title. So what he inherited Fuente team. Manny inherited the 2nd most talented roster in acc and a defense he coached for 3 years and was almost 0-3 against G5 schools.

Let’s go back 2 months ago...we stomped out FSU their program was in shambles, they fired their coach......fast forwards 2 months. They have a proven head coach and are building a better structure to their program. With more accountability, limiting incompetence by having ppl
In positions who know football to make football decisions.

Look at us...since beating FSU we’ve fallen off the map. Embrashing losses to FIU, Duke and LaTech. Still committed to a fake savage head coach.


Honestly, would you have rather lose to FSU and have Mike Norvell as our HC with Zo running football ops?

Or be in our current situation with at least another 8-9 months of Manny Diaz?

That’s not at all my point. People were doing this same song and dance when Taggart was hired, and now everyone is quaking because they hired some guy to run football, that no one who’s posted in this thread has heard of before today.

For all of our recent problems, FSU hasn’t been 1 of them. I’m more worried about what we can do to fix our program. I don’t really care what FSU does honestly. And regardless of what they do, you will never catch me on here like “OMG, FSU is so scary now, what are we going to do? Let’s fold the program bc FSU is too scary now.”

Maybe Norvell will be amazing, time will tell. I think he’s a good offensive coach, but go back to the threads when Taggart is hired and you will see the same type of defeatist attitude from our fans.

If Manny is as bad as you all say he is and will be unable to lure in an OC good enough to solve our offensive woes, then he will be gone in a year anyways. Who knows, by then Blake could be gone too and/or not making decisions for football. I’d like our chances at upgrading if that was the case vs Blake making another hire now.
