Interesting article about FSU's belated investigation into the alleged rape of a woman by Jameis Winston. Title iX requires a quick investigation by the university and compliance with that is an integral part of the NCAA rules. FSU was in clear violation of that as pointed out in a New York Times article months ago and now they are scrambling to catch-up. Winston is far from clear but FSU's fumbling cover-up by refusing to investigate initially is the real issue. Here are some links to the articles:

Damm Winston cant get to the nfl fast enough the girl parents must be looking to get paid they ant letting this go and they shouldn't.

I wonder if their findings will come down after the season right around the time Jemima declares for the draft.

Do you think there is anyone who would cover the BEFORE the season ends half of the bet? The only way it gets finished before is if the completely exonerate him. It will be interesting to see if this hurts his draft status. Feather people have one failed and a second failing 1st round QBs in NFL now. Rapist is probably a serial *** offender( remember there was another girl he use same MO on). NFL teams might be a little hesitate making him top 5 pick. Not that they give a crap about the crimes or women, just because of the business and image issues. This punk will prove to be a problem in NFL.

The school is conducting the investigation they were required by federal law to conduct two years ago at the time of the initial allegation.

Translation: nothing to see here.

FSU Rep: "Florida State University investigators have determined that "No, please stop! Help me!" was a part of their role-playing. The alleged victim did not use the appropriate safeword: 'Scrong'."

Recap of interview with Jameis

They are just following protocal. Not sure why they waited so long but it might something to do with the Girls lawyer not letting FSU sweep it under the run without first doing its own investigation based on Title IX. I think its more of the problem for the university rather than Winston for not doing their due diligence after it happened. They reported on ESPN that Tallahassee LAW enforcement stated that no new evidence has turned up and they would not be looking into the case any further at this point.

Fox Sports legal analyst blah blah blah said these things usually take 60 days, started 30 days ago, so we should know 30 days from now.

I will believe it when I see it, but if it is bad for Winston, I will not believe it until I see him actually not the QB of FSU.

Nothing to see here. Will drag their feet. By the way, so far, Darby and Casher have been interviewed but not Jameis. Meaning he STILL has never had to answer a single question from either the Trailerhassee Police Department OR FSU about what happened. Has never had to go on record and (probably) lie about what happened. And wouldn't surprise me if he never did.

If there is one thing that following sports lately has taught me , it is that in sports (if not always life in general) the ******** always win and there is no reward for trying to do it "the right way", whatever the **** that means.

Jameis will join Donald Sterling, Ray Rice, The Pouncey Brothers and every other ******* I can't think to name right now in the club of entitled douche bags that get "punished" by making millions, or in Sterling's case billions, of dollars.

one more iffy game and he may be two or three games from being suspended a quarter

I don't know what the big deal is. Winston's lawyer has talked to Jameis and confirmed the *** was consensual. The TPD, after an exhaustive investigation, agrees. We all need to move on.

Imagine for a moment if this were UM's QB. The outcry!!!! The bashing we would have taken and continue to take by playing 'the rapist!'
