Tears FSU FANS HAVE GIVEN UP LOL

I have a couple of FSU buddies and they both sent me the same text over the last few days. After you guys embarrass us this weekend we can finally get a new coach. :ROFLMAO:

Don't fall for this, and don't you dare let them convince you of it.

On Saturday night, at about 6:30, they're all gonna tune into this game. Don't let them bull**** you that they won't watch. Don't let them bull**** you they don't care. They will, and they do.

And as we get closer to kickoff, every single one will have the same exact thought. Why not us? Yeah, they're probably gonna kill us, but what if we block a punt? What if Mensah turns an ankle? What if Duce turns into Calvin Johnson for a night. We can do this. We can upset these dudes....any given Saturday, right?!

That's called hope. They might not have it now. Or they might want to convince you they don't. But come Saturday night, they will ALL have it. Even if it's just a glimmer. They'll turn it on, and they'll have hope. Real, genuine, hope.

And then....we will squeeze every ******* last drop of life out of their broken bodies, and watch them die, slowly, for 3 hours. See, when you don't really give a **** about something, the outcome doesn't matter to you. Who cares? But trust me...they care. Whether or not they will admit it on twitter or in your group chat, no matter how loud they yell for Mario to kill them....they care. And because of that, at about 10:30 on Saturday night, they're gonna be depressed, again, for what? The 25th time in the last ~2 years? And I can't tell you how happy that makes me.

They reveled in our misery. They called us broke boys, a dead program, we'd never be back, Mario would never beat Mike, etc. etc. I've heard every troll in the book. For years. So guess what? You don't get to not care. You get to look me in the eyes as I choke the life out of you, and you get to see how big this smile is on my face as I do. Because nothing makes me happier than burying that corpse of a program even further into the crust of the earth than they could've ever imagined in their most far-fetched nightmares.

Rent's due, *******. See you Saturday.

And this right here is it! It's how I envision Mario talking to the team all week.

I want 2001 miami v Washington. I want offensive obliteration and defensive scores. I want them to walk out of HR with the feel of complete abandonment.

I work with an FSU fan. He’s started the it’s a rivalry nonsense early this week. Scored on Bama, UVA game, blasé, blasé, blasé. I’m expecting a text around 9 PM of him waiving his proverbial white flag.
