FSU fans are starting to turn on Jimbo

Not a shock—nor is it proprietary to Florida State ad Jimbo. Florida fans started turning on Urban in 2010 after that 8-5 season.

Fact is, once you deliver a title—a new bar is set and anything less than that (especially in southern-style college towns, where football is everything)—the natives get restless.

Toss in high expectations, as well. Florida State was No. 3 to start the season and completely unraveled after Francois went down. Absolute no excuse for a 4-6 run this year and scrapping for bowl eligibility.

Once the Noles lost to North Carolina State, their season was over. It SHOULDN'T have been—but 1-2 going into Miami and falling to the Canes ... that team quit—and that's on Jimbo.
 
Real hardcore fsu fans actually havent liked Jimbo for a while. Jameis and the title masked their noise for a bit, but theyve never really cared for him. They hated those 8-4 seasons, State champ rings, awful assistants, and noticed the lack of development just like we did.
 
Fisher should send Jameis Winston a large check every Christmas.

Fisher is an average coach, certainly not elite. What advantage does FSU not have? Facilities are fine. 80,000+ seat on-campus stadium. Academic requirements are minimal - the school is a cliche ‘football factory’ in a state hip-deep in talent.

The brand should be recruiting itself.

I hope Jimbo signs a lifetime extension.

Jimbos problem is he cant identify or coach that OL.....its been there biggest weakness for a loooong time and if u cant protect the qb u are fuqed. Dalvin Cook masked that **** cause he was so good for them but now they in trouble

Agreed.

All the talent in the world and he builds a garbage dump. He may be a good X’s and O’s OC but he cannot assemble a staff and lead young men.

Both traits Richt excels in.

Thats a good assessment. His track record of developing qb s is one of the best in the biz. Im thinking hes just a great tactician and nothing more

FSU went full Larry Coker. Stopped recruiting the state and started recruiting the number of stars.

Sub 50% class from Florida this year for them. Fastest way to irrelevance in this state.
 
OP was probably one of those somamabiotches that got Bobby Bowden kicked to the curb talking about needing some young blood as head coach. Now they all regret getting rid of Bobby Bowden. Bobby Bowden is really responsible for their last title. Thank you Semenwh@re fans!! Lol
