Hot take: The FSU/UM game gets postponed because of an outbreak at FSU. FSU has been sloppy as fck since the start, and those mongoloids were all shoulder to shoulder at the game. Add that in with the team being a bunch of undisciplined ***** who probably want the season canceled, and I can see them being a big problem with cancellations.
Was discussing this with my Dad this weekend. This list of assclowns likely to **** this all up:

1) VT
2) F$U

Leave it to The Turkey and the Moles to get throwed out the ACC for 2020.

Christian or ****** what difference does it matter?

Are you an atheist?

It matters a **** of a lot. If you spent your entire life hearing "God created the world" and also live in fear of this vengeful God who is kind and benevolent but will also smite you and sentence you to eternal suffering if you don't take what "he" says as truth, you might, just maybe, be a little biased to it.

So, I'm assuming your (obvious) deflection here means you were indeed raised in a Christian household, which gives you zero credibility on the subject matter given your personal bias. The fact that you're a "biology major," which means you may not have even taken a science class yet, let alone studied biology (a very, very deep science) at a high level, only weakens your position.

I'm philosophically Buddhist. No creator God. I do believe in the notion of God, which to me, represents the order of the system. But the amount of flaws in the notion of a Christian god are, frankly, too many to list. But simply put, as a person with a command of numbers and probability, and a rational mind, it is very clear to me that the explanation of the way things are from evolution make way, WAY more sense than a divine creator.

Or, put another way, it made a lot more sense that all those present I got on Xmas didn't come from a magical fat man driving a reindeer sled around the world one night a year, but instead, came from my Mom.

Finally, I've been keen to understand evolutionary theory and the origin of life for a very long time, even going so far as to write a thesis on the origin of life. So as a biology major, I hope you're prepared to discuss Miller-Urey.

The global data available to us indicates no correlation between mask wearing (or lockdowns) and viral spread. In fact the UK, Italy, and the United States all have higher death rates per capita as compared to Sweden (A country that has been obsessively criticized, but presently has a downward trend on it's caseload and a flatlined death rate).

I'm speaking as a person who did study epidemiology in graduate school, but frankly my education doesn't matter, when any of you can access the very same data and come to the same conclusion. Please stop talking about this on a sports board. Thanks.
Dogma trumps data, social proof is all we need to 'know' masks are saving lives.

Lol Human evolution... so the story goes we were all apes and somebody stumbled across some ooze from TGRI and we turned into humans. Oh wait was that a cartoon? 🤔🤦🏽‍♂️

Thanks for telling me you don't understand how it works. The fact that you specify "human evolution" as if it doesn't operate within the parameters of evolution is particularly embarrassing.

It's impressive to watch a man feed off his emotions, but please, for the love of god, read a f@%!ing book.

Both the notions of panspermia (life on earth having extraterrestrial origins) and divine creation due to complexity have been widely acknowledged in scientific circles for decades. Panspermia does not imply the planting of life on earth was deliberate, as it could have occurred via meteorite, which is as if not more likely. As for complexity, any scientist worth their salt won't ascribe to it, because the law of large numbers easily supports the order of complexity.

Further, literally nothing about evolutionary theory is in direct contrast to Christian religion, which is absolutely idiotic to even bring up, given the bible was written 300 years after Jesus died and translated countless times.

The stupidity behind conspiracy theories can be easily magnified by the Flying Spaghetti Monster notion. Can you prove that God is NOT a Flying Spaghetti Monster?

Of course you can't. But if you use one billionth of your brain (or in your case... think really hard), you would know the notion is farcical and absurd.

My belief in God doesn’t come from Christianity.. it just makes the most sense. It Makes way more sense than the theory of evolution which is childish to believe in honestly. Makes more sense then we came from Aliens whether deliberate or accidental.

The moon landing has been debunked so many times and ways now, no body believes it, just like evolution, all the smart guys are now saying the Earth was seeded by aliens...

Lol at go read a book.. Evolution is Indoctrinated in elementary school for a reason. Evolution in general is made up with no factual evidence that it’s real under any parameters.

I mean, that makes more sense than a magical bearded sky man snapping his fingers.

1) You don't understand evolution, which is why it doesn't make sense to you. Your position is highly indicative of a simplistic mind. "This is too complicated for me to grasp, so I believe in the easy explanation." Further, the fact you think your opinion on this matter is valid is highly indicative of Dunning-Kruger fallacy.

2) You don't understand the difference between "alien" and "aliens." When the scientific community indicates life had alien origins, it means that the chemical building blocks for life (amino acids, etc) were or alien origin, meaning they came from meteor strikes, not little green men in spaceships.

So, let me make this extremely simple for you:

-Life started as very basic, single-celled organisms.
-Life reproduced, passing genetic material to the next generation.
-Sometimes when life reproduces, there are genetic mutations, making for an altered type of that life form.
-Sometimes these mutations are to the benefit of that species, and sometimes they are to the detriment. Meaning the offspring that received the mutations are more or less likely to survive and pass on said mutation.
-As the mutated gene becomes more prevalent over time, the species changes.

Is that too complex for you to grasp?

If you think there's no factual evidence, you just don't get it.

There were not people. Now there are. There's factual evidence.

Try researching the peppered moth and then tell me there's no factual evidence. The amount of factual evidence is STAGGERING.

No it’s not complex at all it’s just sounds like a bunch of bs

It’s the confidence with with which people spout insane stupidity that’s really surprising. There have been multiple studies that confirm that masks reduce the transmission of airborne particles for both the person wearing the mask and then further those around you wearing one. It’s a compounding effect. Unfortunately guys like Alex Berenson find a contrarian niche to exploit and feed this dumb narrative in an anti mask echo chamber.
None of those studies identified a Zoonotic Virus included in their actual findings, only normal “flora” from the mouth.
Ps.... is it safe to assume that everyone knows that saliva and mucus inhibit viruses? And that there is a scientific debate on whether viruses are alive or dead (cannot live independently outside host cell as well as their inability to self-direct (like move freely)?

I left out the word "am". And I have a professional degree.

Miller- Urey is mans feeble attempt to remove God from their world view.

So you can have a buddhist point of view and have 100% credibility? But I can't? LOL

You are trying to act smarter than you really are.

For arguments sake, let's say there is no God and when we die nothing happens or are reborn. But if I'm right and there is a God, you'll have problems. Choose wisely.

Lol so funny how Scientist are... they went from backing the evolutionary theory to deny Gods existence to saying that everything is so perfect that it cant be random.

Which turned into the creationist theory... which is admitting that we were created by God, BUT since the mainstream Scientific community is full of atheists..it has to be Aliens. 🤡
Please stfu and have your mom read you a bedtime story or something

Everything in this is wrong.

Do you know one of the biggest flaws in the evolutionary theory is these made up timelines that get revised every 10 years.

what is it that scientist say the modern human evolved?... 200,000 years ago? Do you known that some scientists have suggested that the Sphinx could’ve been built over 100 thousand years ago? Which would completely fck up the entire timeline as to when modern humans supposedly first appeared on this earth.
