You’re actually supposed to sneeze and cough into the crook of your elbow, not your hand. Coughing or sneezing into your hand and then touching surfaces is what spreads the flu every year, forgetting about Covid. So at an absolute baseline, you’re starting this off with faulty logic.

Masks don't do **** against a virus. They work well against bacteria, but the basic masks everyone wears is nothing more than a security blanket. It makes people feel safe.

the mask would help conceal your mouth breathing really well, though. it's worth considering.

There have been multiple studies that confirm that masks reduce the transmission of airborne particles for both the person wearing the mask and then further those around you wearing one. A bunch of players will opt out and FSU to save face will cancel the season in order to avoid getting curb stomped. Morale on that team was already at an all time low and trust in the staff was barely present. Plenty of players went vocal with the handling of the virus as well.
If they go 0-2 what’s happening now will seem minor.
