Their Secondary is Elite. They struggle at the LB level which is why their defense struggles at times.

I disagree, meet them head on. We have been gashing teams between the tackles. Yearby and Duke can spot the cut back and hit it fast if they over pursue. We don't need slow developing plays.

Yes, we need to stick to zone blocking like we have been.
no pulling guards and slow developing power plays.
thats how duke got hurt last year.

How does our top WR compare with Parker the WR from Louisville? He didn't appear to have issues getting open
You are being kind. Their LBs are whats holding them back from the defense being as good as last year. (and the fact that they cant get to the QB with just their front 4)
If it wasnt for the fact that they had a great secondary this defense would be in even worse shape. I most def think we can run right at those guys. And I think Walford can provide a mismatch. Problem is..Eddie Goldman is probably the best run stuffing DT in the country. And we all know Sugar Shane McDermott has issues when he goes toe to toe with elite DTs.
People thinking Duke is going to have some field day must have forgot that our Oline is VERY depleted. Lets hope that Linder/Isodora/Sugar Shane can provide some running lanes against those DTs.

Yup they were. And hurns speed isn't elite and he beat him easily on a little hitch and go on the sideline. Phillip will probably be covered by PJ with a safety over the top to watch the deepball. Herb and all them should all be one on one all night

I think we will see an entirely different defense when they play us. Read on 247 that they are getting Pugh , eligwe back this week. This will probably allow them to move edwards back inside more. Thomas should be in the fold by then, and also read Williams and Darby are getting closer to being 100% with hammy injuries. It did not mention if Smith the starting LBer who was out will be back this week or not. If so, that will give them about 7 either back or healthier people than have played so far this year. I think also them being without the big DT from Ft Lauderdale, NLS has hurt also. They have been hit about as hard as any team in country in defense so far. Hope they do not get real healthy for us. We will probably have to score a lot of points to stay in game.

honestly their LBs are their weak point, not a big fan of pj williams and darby, like ramsey, they are a very good pass defense, their run defense is lacking, thats the knock on their 4-2-5 formation that they run a lot there, duke should have a big game especially if we get some of our O-lineman back for the game
the new DC has been a huge turn for the worse. Florida players should not be in a bend but dont break scheme. Pruit had them playing very aggessive but Kelly changed that. Hence all world DBs last year look poor this year. Also very thin at LB but should be better this week. And Mario is a DT trying to play DE.. watch, he is never near the QB.

WE have no WR's like Parker on this team. it SHOULD have been S.Coley but we know how that is playing out. we have a lot of weapons but cant seem to use them at Wideout. im fine with Duke running the ball if that builds consistency. im sure all the Wideouts will be motivated this game.
