made no sense since they lost 3 games last year and did not improve their OL plus the last couple years they had one exceptional player Dalvin Cook and no one on the current team could carry his jock...they lost more than they gained so I am not surprised they have losses although I can't believe with all the 4 and 5 star players they are this bad...I think their fans are right as Jimbo (what a stupid name) should be fired...he has no control and looks totally lost with no clue how to stop the losing.

what's the exact numbers on his buyout do you know?
 
past few years Cook would bail them out a few times. He was actually underrated in terms of how big of a game changer he is/was. He's a once-in-a-decade type player for a program like FSU and I think people took this for granted...
 
All I know..... Cam Akers is no where near Dalvin Cook talent wise or in anything on the field

It's $39 million and change...FSU fans are delusional if they think he's getting fired anytime soon.

Lmao at firing jimbo. The guy is a solid coach. Lol at people thinking there’s a plethora of good coaches that can do better.

#3 is where they should be. There's an insane amount of talent on that team. As a team they play like dogcrap which is a glorious thing to behold.

Exactly. It's a different age of CFB. There are only two Saban or Meyers, everyone else will have periods of ups and downs but if I'm FSU I'd ride with a coach that got us two playoffs and a title.
 
Jimbo has to start all over, his team has no idea how to handle adversity most have known nothing but winning the last several years and being fawned over.
Conversely Miami has a group of kids that have suffered some and relish success and seemingly work for it. As I've said a hundred times they had two players the last few years that were rare in their ability to change a game by themselves...and now they're gone.

Yep Jameis and Dalvin.
 
Jimbo is not going to win consistently with Trickett and Kelly. Kelly is just not good. doesn't have a feel for the game.
