FSU -6 vs UCF

FSU is just too talented a team for USF. And their players have too much pride. They will blow up USF and won't let up. Which is fine by me, as someone will likely get injured in meaningless minutes running up the score. And we want FSU to be highly ranked when we play them. Hope Noles roll this Saturday and we kick their *** in a couple of weeks.

I think everyone's initial gut reaction is that FSU will roll. The more you think about it though, the more pause you should have with this game. I wouldn't touch it.

yall better look st USF history against FSU

a 3- 9 USF only lost by 13 at home to a 4th ranked FSU back in 2012

Was that the game BJ daniels was going ham on them?

NAw i think that was 2009 0r 2010
Vern are you taking fsu

I would've took them at -5.5 but now that it's-7 I'm a little nervous.... think I'm gonna wait to see how the game plays out and make a 2nd half bet.....but like caniacmike said I'm probably gonna stay away if FSU covers it would be late in the 4th when it does

If they lose...lawd will that ****** SHOWTIME show be must watch TV. Sheeet, those pussies might just cancel the thing

The collapse of jimbo and fsu in the next year or two is gonna be prime TV. Gonna buy some popcorn and get ready

I'd take FSU to bounce back and cover on this one.

The Syracuse-USF game was a little deceptive. Syracuse jumped out to a 17-0 lead in the 1st Quarter. Then in the 2nd Quarter went for it on 4th and 3 from their own 47 for some reason and didn't get it, then threw an INT, then lost a fumble. Total momentum swing. Syracuse was rolling early before all the turnovers led to a blow out. Kind of like the VT-Tenn game.

Only thing that would had me nervous is something is wrong with Dalvin Cook. He's been bad this year. He's looked slow and cautious, like he's just trying not to get hurt. I hope he runs that way when he plays Miami

I do not foresee this being a bounce back statement game for fsu. I think they will be in full on sulk mode and looking to unc as the statement. Whether usf can actually win depends on their ability to throw. I have not seen them play. Fsu's defense is not uninspired it is confused. But they do have talent and usf won't just run all over them if they can't throw.

Slight matchup deficiences can lead to big blowouts - just look at our Clemson game last year. FSU isn't that much worse than UL.

LOL at FSU players having too much pride. You must have missed them begging Louisville to ease up on them and quitting after a quarter. But for the kindness of Petrino, UL puts at least 80 on them and gives up 10 tops.

Another factor in these intrastate games in Florida is the disrespect factor the USF guys feel for not being offered by the big 3. That's tough to account for when it comes to betting lines. It's the reason FAU played us so hard and then shut the sheets against Kansas State.

LOL if you think that Clemson game was a matchup problem. The problem was our players were finished. They wanted out, and that was their chance to end the suffering.

The point is that the final score did not represent a comparable difference in talent level (as opposed to, say, the App St. score). Clemson was more talented, but not that much more talented. It would be a mistake to conclude anything different about FSU and USF, give the Louisville blowout.

And no, I don't think the Canes were down 42-0 at the half because they'd already thrown in the towel at 4-2 and coming off gutting out a win against VT.

As much as I hate FSU and can't stand picking them, this is easy money. $200 on FSU. They'll win by 3 td's minimum. They'll be ****ed off because of the thrashing they took, and let's be honest, it's ******* USF. Them being "better" than before still isn't saying much.

You characterize that sleep-walking through a game where we allowed a beat up beat down Vag Tech team to almost come back and beat us as "gutting out a win." That tells me this isn't a conversation I want to have.

You're right. We fought hard against Clemson. Just bad match ups did us in. The unprecedented toxicity around the program at kickoff had no effect on our team's morale. They were fired up to see "Fire Folden" banners flying and an empty stadium before a home game against a top team.

Sounds like you should take up an career in mental health counseling. Your ability to psychologically evaluate people by watching them on TV for a half of football is very impressive. This is news-worthy stuff. I think I'll give CNN a call.
