FSU-47 Miami-0

I thoroughly enjoyed the first 3 qtrs up there last year.. but let’s try to play 4 qtrs this time. All gas, no brakes.

Different times. Neither team had a base to speak of. Things changed quickly.

1984 Miami was defending national champions, ranked 4th. FSU was 15 and the game only drew 60K at the OB. Only 62K in 1986 for FSU. The #1 vs #2 Miami OU game in '86 wasn't a sellout (71,000). Miami was still building up the fan base even into the mid to late 80s.

I want the Canes to win the toss take the ball and go 75 yds in 3 plays letting them know from the start they are screwed and their best move is to feign an injury so they can opt out before they get caught up in this Class 5 hurricane .

I was too but that was probation-era so there was a reason for it. Noles today can’t say the same…
I wasn't sure we'd get out of it. It seemed like the end was upon us. We were getting crushed in recruiting (we thought) but really the 3* guys and walk ons were 5* in disguise. Thank you Butch.
