Wait......so you quote me disagreeing with the way i refer to someone because, you know, you're not into catch phrases and old fashioned. Then tell me that in my world if someone has a different opinion that me they're the enemy?

its all about entitlement.

this is a whole new generation that thinks the world owes them everything and all they have to do is show up.

Ed can preach to them all he wants and I'd bet 7 out of ten will walk away asking his buddy " who the fck this cat think he is telling us we have to earn it".Yes it starts with the HC but the HC can't babysit these players 24/7.You have to have leaders on your team that will police things making sure players are doing the right things.

I love the fact that he says we have to recruit nationally because S.Fla. seems to have more divas than anywhere else.These kids have been told all their lives about how great they are and how S.Fla has the best athletes blah,blah,blah and they think because they are supposed to be so great and everyone has been telling them how great they are since they were in optimist they don't have to work at it.

well news flash.The rest of the country has caught up skill wise for the most part and you can find players with a lot less drama attached away from S.Fla.I be willing to bet that you can go through the top 10 teams from last year and outside of UF you won't find 25 Fla. players non the less S.Fla players total on all their rosters combined..

You obviously can't get away from S.Fla because it is our base but I wouldn't mind going elsewhere as we did in our hay day to find good players.You know pretty much if a kid is coming from out of state he WANTS to be here and will be willing to put in the time.

Again I know this starts at the top but a HC can't put dedication ,drive and want in a kids mind and body.It's something they have to have inside.

You don't have it right. Not even close. Nobody said anything about your opinion. I just told you I thought your not so catchty little nickname ER20 is lame and you got triggered. You immediately went ham. Accusing a perfect stranger of crying like a girl, calling someone a puzzy. Telling stranger to find another team to root for. Why? Because your internet feelings got hurt. Das why. What's funny is. I actually agreed with your point. But you're too busy dealing with fake *** hurt internet feelings because someone voiced an opinion about your stupid little not so catchy nickname that you may or may not have created. Your point was well taken about change within the program and my opinion whether right or wrong, still stands. The nick name ER20 is lame. Just like CMR, TB12 and CMD.

Excellent post. Pretty much spot on. Ed Reed being a Louisiana guy should have a pretty good perspective on what it's like to play for the U and not be from Miami. Let's just hope Ed Reed is just what this program needs.
