(From Gaby) Meet Miami's 2026 DL

Get the feeling we will have way more rotation than we had this year? Sending waves at the qb?

If Mario, Heatherman, and JT keep all of those guys, that's one **** of a recruiting/retention job. They're all going to be starter quality.

You got jacquez, moten, and Scott inside. With Blount moving inside at times.

Then you have Lightfoot and wilson rotating. Then Blount, lowe on the other side.

You'll have packages with Lightfoot and wilson on the field at the same time.

Then you have Charles and others who will get snaps not pictured. Not even to mention Pickett, scroggins, and cole.

One **** of a rotation.

You’re not knocking that technique/philosophy are you? I mean it does yield “results.”
Personally, I prefer hitting on the fat friend of the one I really want. Jealousy usually kicks in and “el switcheroo” happens magically.

I’m speaking solely about when I was single. Just in case Mrs. BigDik is on this board.

Though I am excited for the development of the DT room, as of today the only DTs that can 100% give us snaps r Carter, Moten, and Scott. We r expecting a lot of development from the freshmens, which I think there will be 1-2 that can give the team snaps. We’ll also see how Blount develops. I would def suggest getting another upperclassmen DT for depth. We didn’t have that many injuries this past season and that could change.

Our 2026 DL has the strong potential to be even better than they were in 2025. And that’s saying a lot.

Just need to ensure commensurate LB play. Not worried at all about the Secondary.

You have Blount who has taken alot of snaps at dt. We are going after that Nebraska transfer plus 1 of the young guys should be able to handle snaps in the 5th or 6th slot
