Frierson...

Not sure where the transfer rumors started or if the rumor had any legs, but **** glad to see him out there, contributing and more importantly: DEVELOPING....

He looked lost at times last season, but he has certainly looked the part this year with increased reps. Here is to hoping we see him continue to develop as the season progresses.....

A guy like Frierson just needed reps. Kid like this the more he plays, the more confidence builds for him. Frierson probably wasnt wowing anyone in practice. Which was probably why he was having a hard time keeping KSmith at bay during the competition. Hes the type of kid that you throw out there and let his skillset do the rest until he figures it out. The light bulb seems like its come on for him. Perfect timing too.

This is why having to compete for playing time is so important....

Keontra should get reps at safety in practice because there's no need for Frierson to split snaps with anyone.

This should be Gil's turning point. He's been OK until Saturday with some real lapses mixed in. Saturday he was an absolute dog. That's what we need from him every week.

Agree - i felt Smith played better in limited time against Louisville and was wondering if the talk of him challenging Gil for that job was legit.

Against FSU, Gil said hold my beer and proceeded to beat some Noles down. He keeps playing like that and nobody will be talking about his job.
