That is what I posted last night but a poster was arguing with me about him him being a box safety. Not in Dime defense.
 
If you really want to know he was left on an island on that play. There was a corner blitz. Bad call by def coordinators.
Also Frierson was absolutely one of the bright spots to emerge from that game. Op needs to take football 101
 
Gurvan also bit heavy on the zone read. Got exposed as it looked like Carter was thinking Cover 2 and Gurvan either got beat or thought Carter was playing cover 1

There was no corner blitz on that play
 
It was the Strikers man to cover with supposed safety help over the top....help that got caught looking into the backfield.

A dumbass reporter in the post game conference asked Manny about it and Manny promptly knocked his **** in the dirt for asking an idiotic question.

Yup I thought he looked really good out there...Closes on everything well. Simply got beat by a kid that's a tough cover for all dbs, especially a safety/striker type down the middle of the field.
 
No worries about him. He played wonderfully arrogant at Gables and that was on display again last night. I actually expected to see it last year.

He can also catch punts
 
He hawked down Hammond ... showed excellent closing speed against the run... capable of playing anywhere in the secondary...at the end of the day... Frierson is going to be big-time....
