Frierson and Wilder any updates?

Frierson had a lot of buzz in spring camp, haven't heard a peep since. Did he play vs Sav St.? Is he struggling at CB? WIll the look at him for S? Not alarmed just wondering what his hurdles are. Obviously two great freshmen ahead of him.

What's up with Wilders neck injury?

Wilder I don't know but saw frierson playing alongside bethel late. I think hes just a little behind Ivey and blades technique wise. Hes an athlete and a playmaker so he'll be fine. He'll be a beast safety or corner
 
Ivins was asked this the other day and said while he isn't wearing a neck brace now he believes Wilder is out for the season. It's been pretty quiet in terms of news on that front....

Not good. Hope this isn't another Malek Young situation.

It seems whenever there is no information about a neck injury then its usually a career ender. Hope that is not the case. The OU RB that just tore his ACL apparently overcame some neck injury early in his career.
 
I could have sworn I saw Wilder dressed for both games but not play. Seems like a lot of guys will be redshirting this year. Irvin, George Brown may petition for a 6th year if he sticks with the team. I know Brown has one more year left here but he most likely lost this year to injury. Then if Rosseau is out for the year he will get a redshirt and Wilder too will get one.
