He was very good as a QB. Walked on the football team.
His HS was Half Hollow Hills in Suffolk County
On Long Island, most kids play multiple sports - usually guys who play football also play lacrosse. Football isn't a year round sport here so they all look for something to do. My son actually played 3 sports - football, basketball and baseball..
the talent pool is small so the athletic kids have to play multiple sports
It's absolutely imperative that we win out.Disney ain't even pretending anymore with ABC airing SEC tripleheaders on Saturday.
ACC and Big XII are just afterthought city
IDKWas this kid gonna play college football from Day One or did Brown just hear about him and encourage him to come out?
Either way, good for the freshman getting out there
It's absolutely imperative that we win out ... and leave the ACC
Looking at the Orange so far I swear we better be up 42-0 at half and Emory starts the 3rd.... which is what we first need to do to SMU to impress the CFB committee in some way.
Might want to concentrate on that then. No point trying to survive 300lb guys trying to kill you if you're a top Lacrosse player (or any other sport tbh).IDK
He's a walk on. Maybe Brown encourged it. Around these parts, kids are heavily recruited for Lacrosse. Maybe word of mouth got him involved with football
Ind of surprised he has the time for football. I'm pretty sure there is fall lacrosse - not a full blown season but a shorter season
EDIT: Just saw he was a top 50 lacrosse recruit. Looks like that is for sure his best sport...
And so it starts........ Glad they are starting early
This might be the worst Cuse team I've ever seen...
We "should" if scheduled...beat both these squads by about 70...... and what does that say about the Heels?![]()
