Alabama literally finished ahead of us last year with a 9-3 record to our 10-2, and 2 losses to .500 teams. If you think it’s out of the realm of possibility this ***** us you’re delusional.
Yes and the Miss St game was an abomination and only reason they won was b/c Miss St remembered they are Miss StThey just said the 35-10 loss wasn’t that bad if you watched the game![]()
It's kind of like ole miss last year. There's nothing you can point to say that miami wouldn't have a better record if they switched schedules.Out of the realm of possibility? No. Likely? Definitely not.
We were behind Bama last year because we had zero even decent wins. And our 2 losses were worst than the ones this year. We won’t be behind a 9-3 Texas if we win tomorrow.

They are talking about the eye test and quality losses. Losing to the gator is a quality SEC loss. Much more weight than an OOC win over an SEC opponent.Even if you remove their OSU loss, we both have two losses and a common opponent - one they lost to and we smoked. wtf are we talking about here? These people are weird.
I’m not saying it’s likely but there’s a lot of “no shot” takes in here that are just not living in reality.Out of the realm of possibility? No. Likely? Definitely not.

I think it would have depended on the final score of the scar game. If they lost something like 30-7 and then lost to texas by two scores they might have been out depending on how other teams look in the final week. It would be similar to miami missing out in 2017.I really, really wanna know what would have happened if A&M had lost to South Carolina two weeks ago and then lost again tonight to put them at 10-2. I don't know how you'd separate them and Miami or justify Notre Dame ahead of both of them.
If we win there is no way they jump us. Especially with our win over ND. Committee already struggling with that. They aren't adding that variable as well.I’m not saying it’s likely but there’s a lot of “no shot” takes in here that are just not living in reality.
We were behind Bama because of lack of good wins, but this year it’s all about bad losses, supposedly. They’ll always fit the narrative and criteria to what they need to, I’m not saying I think Texas jumps us but this was a bad outcome that will at least have people banging the table for them to get in.
And go WHERE? Even when the ACC tries to back us up, it gets drowned out by E"SEC"SPN. Unless the B1G opens their books and adds more teams, we're stuck, same with everyone else not currently in the B1G/SEC. They may have a gentleman's agreement to not add anyone else, and let all of us die on the vine. Why split the pie when you can completely destroy anyone that can possibly be a threat by making a championship run almost impossible?I’m just over the SEC bias. We need out of our fkn trash conference with zero support or representation.
lol they won’t hold bama losing in a rematch against Georgia against them. Need them to lose to auburn to jump them.A&M wasn’t going to beat Bama. Georgia on the other hand could beat Bama. So do we skip by a 3 loss Bama team that just got beat in SEC championship game? Likely not. But that would be a way in.
