I still don’t understand what exactly he/they were trying to accomplish or thought they were accomplishing with this letter. All it did is put the rest of the season under a much bigger microscope with little wiggle room at the end if things go sour. They last thing we need is more people or more committees with a say into this mess.

Above all of that, my biggest question is removing athletics, what exactly is the board doing or looking at with academics to even allow this guy to write this nonsense and send it out. The entire letter is premised on our academics being strong, which they haven’t been.
 
This just in. Manny Diaz replaced by Temple coach Rod Carey.

Every time I read "The U" in his vapid letter it made my skin crawl. First thing Frenk should be getting his top men working on is why we're now tied with FSU in the academic rankings. He sucks at everything.

Nah this time they will make it look like a big coaching search and not name a HC till halfway through fall camp. That's when Blake James announces Rod Carey as the next head football coach of the Miami Hurricanes

Just what we need... more voices and committees. You can tell this guy came from a government bureaucracy instead of any business that needs to run efficiently and decisively.
