Frederique injury ? ( SIAP)

If you watch the video, there could appear to be the tell tale tremor of an achilles in the calf area. Also, he was gripping the trainer's hand pretty hard when he was laying on his back.

Obviously no reports of surgery (torn achilles typically are repaired within ~48 hrs)...so that is hopefully a very good sign and much adieu about nada.

So maybe a moderate soft tissue injury?

Soft tissue in the calf would be an Achilles or torn calf which doesn’t happen very often. The other would be a sprained ligament in the ankle which is more like a foot vs calf.

Let me repeat this again they were stretching out his calf on the sideline. Stretching it out! You’re not going to be doing that to someone that has a strain in his calf/Achilles. If we could try to have a little common sense here. Looks like he rolled his ankle, which is why he’s in a boot.

Oh I agree that it appeared to be a high ankle. I believe it was a high ankle that held him out most of the year. If so, he may be ok if he just aggravated it. Sorta shocked they didn’t tape it.

This most likely ⬆️
Medial head gastrocnemius strain or tear.
Very similar to what Lagway had.
No way any athletic trainer worth his salt would be stretching out an Achilles injury because it’s the first thing g you check for. Medial head gastrocnemius strain would feel like cramp and the popping sound and sensation would feel like something tore.
And it would also feel like a cramp.

But if he did tear his Achilles that trainer needs to be re-educated
