No program has had a more stunning run of big-time backs in the past 20 years than the Hurricanes, and this five-star freshman is being touted as the next potential great one. An early enrollee, Lingard turned heads in a hurry by running the anchor leg on Miami’s 4×100 relay team and leading it to a season-best time. The 6-0, 202-pounder, the Florida state 4A champ in the 110-meter hurdles, proved to be the fastest ’Cane on a very fast team, clocking 4.27 seconds in the 40-yard dash in spring testing.

Top 40 not revealed yet but so far the highest ranked player is a Cane ^
