Frasier flips from FSU to NC State, will we keep Scarlett?

Scarlett's last sentence or two from that interview is very telling. He made it pretty clear that he didn't have a spot at fsu. Seems like that's where he always wanted to be. Now, he's got a spot and is taking a visit, so there's clearly mutual interest.

We've had Coach Macho talk about Talan should tell Miami to *** off if they offer late(they should offer by the way). Cronkrite wouldn't let Miami back in the picture after the staff messed with him.

Why the **** does Scarlett appear to be so ok with FSU blatantly letting him know he was second fiddle to Frazier and really third choice when you include Patrick too? Take the free trip. Let'em dance for you like court jesters but don't gladly accept being brought up from the kid's table this late.

Good to be the king, I guess.

Yeah I'm surprised too, doesn't seem to bother him that they basically said you are 3rd on our board and don't have a spot unless one decommits.

If I"m an elite guy I say **** you to that.

Agree.

I doubt FSU ever treated him as a 3rd rb target judging by his comments behind the scenes
They probably told him Patrick was already committed to them just not public at the time and fraiser committed to them over the summer and said they were out of spots...

That's what I read too. You'd think these guys would take it as a slap in the face but I guess not. I mean think about it, they took two backs over you, one of which is already enrolled and pretty much told you outright they don't think you are as good as them. So what are his chances of unseating a guy like Patrick once on campus? Right or wrong, the coach already has formed somewhat of an opinion as to who is better.

Excited for NC State. It is nice to see elite talent stay home.

With the trend of the two programs, I'm surprised he didn't choose Duke over NC State. Either way glad it was them instead of FSU.

He is from a small town just outside of Raleigh. NC State would be his local school, even though Durham is just a hop, skip, and jump down the road.

Hardly anyone in NC considers Duke a local school. Not a lot of NC kids go there (only 12% of the student body is from NC). There are some old school ties within the state, but for the most part it is considered a liberal yankee school. That perception may be different for athletes, though.
