I just hope he doesn’t go to UF or Florida. He will have them loaded with talent and winning 10+ games fast.
Agreed. None of my friends (both fanbases) want him. He’d be a great fit at both IMO. **** is overrated.

He’s a PA guy. This firing was all about getting dibs on him.

I thought Indiana's Alumni had made Cignetti an Offer He Couldn't Refuse and was hanging around Indiana for the foreseeable future? Am I wrong?
UW had just given Kalen Deboer an $8 or $10M/yr contract, **** don’t matter. He was on the 1st private jet to Tuscaloosa after Bama brass called & said we want you.

Think Manny & Temple/Miami

It’s still shocking this happened. The you consistently won 10 games. But eventually if you can’t win the big one you’ll be gone. Just ask richt

Their problem was their "1st round QB" is total garbage
This, and they don’t really have any explosive playmakers on offense.

I’m surprised but not surprised about the timing. Early season firing seemed to have become the new normal. Why wait when you can afford the large buyout, offset language or not. The athletic director directors and boosters can start working the agents and back channeling candidates sooner.

Penn State players now have a 30 day portal window. Most starters and backups have probably played too many games to redshirt. Any freshman not playing for Penn State that Miami recruited hard? I’m sure there’s certainly Penn State commits reconsidering their options.
