There was this big scrum back in the winter of 2012 when there were rumors of the PSU job coming open. There was a huge thread here at the time that speculated on Golden taking the job. Over a 100 pages. Absolutely out of this world.

I remembered that Donna and people at the Hecht were ****ed about it. Golden vanished for almost a week around Christmastime of that year instead of tending to recruiting because of his Pedo State obsession. PSU was never hiring Al at the time anyway, but Golden hadn't figured it out yet.

Now, Al has burnished his credentials, especially after his tenure at ND. I could see them hiring Golden.
