Frank Ponce for OC?

QB coach at Louisville who was talked about a little bit before we hired Enos. Coached at a lot of different high schools down here including MNW and Miami Central before he went to college. Was the OC at App state.
Have you heard anything that leads you to believe there will be staff changes?

jesus christ another genius who STILL thinks being from Miami is some sort of trait to be admired in a coach.

after Randy, James Coley, and Manny you STILL havent learned???? how the **** is it possible to be this dumb??????
Is that the only reasoning you have, ur mad because he's from Miami? So STFU, im not on that "is he a Miami guy bs", with that being said PENOS is ****** and if he is fired there needs to be somebody to coach the qbs. I do not want him as an OC that's why I said bring him in as a CO-OC and hopefully we could bring in a quality OC that can learn from him; there is also a very high chance he can succeed down here with recruiting. Not only that but it is a suggestion. Personally I want David Yost.

He is just the best fit to me, he can be OC and QB coach. His resume is fantastic and he is not being played much.
There are several other guys that could work and that are not making much. Lebby at ucf and johns at memphis. **** mark helfrich is the oc for the bears but doesnt call plays.

As someone who was occasionally coached by this dude at CGHS back in the day, I just can't believe he has matured into some sort of offensive mastermind. He's just not that dude.

Definitely a good bro to hit up the trail with, grab a few beers, maybe swing by Scarlet's driving back from a Broward game... and I bet he'd recruit well down here. But calling plays at UM? Hard pass.
Was at Gables back in '93 and dude was a **** that played favorites over talent. Personal reasons aside, hire him then just drop down to FCS...

We need an experienced OC, someone who can put together a new offensive staff, we need all new position coaches, all positions on offense underperformed.

I heard we just lost to FIU and Duke...
and Georgia Tech...
and.... maybe somebody else
and 3rd down conversion % is last in college football
and the line can't block
and we choose to run slow developing plays behind the line that can't block
I've even heard that our dances have commenced at the wrong times

but maybe I've heard all that incorrectly,
after all, I read CIS.

“hes from Miami bro, perfect fit!”

“he knows the locals bro, hes a savage! dale!”

“he’ll run up the score like tony montana would, bro!”

....there, have i covered it?
Missed one.

"With our talent, he'd kill it here."

Talked about by who?
This resumé is trash, my Lord. Just keep Enos and save money for Manny buyour next year

He's never called plays before at the college level.

And the only reason why his name ever gets mentioned is because he's a local Cubano.

Which means he's going to be our next HC in 4 years lol...

But fux no, he shouldn't be our OC to replace Enos, we need an innovative Spread guy that will get results, Ponce is just the QB coach version of Diaz.

What about the current USC OC, former North Texas OC?

With that said it likely means if Enos is gone, that’s who Diaz is going to bring in
