This was really cool. Immediate thoughts are:

1) If I had Frank Gore mentoring me, I'm pretty sure I could be a special back too. Even as a not all that athletic or in especially good shape at present who drinks too much and loves bong hits 30-something.

2) Thirty pounds lighter? Uhhhhhh.....

Off topic and bragging a little bit, but I attended Gore's signing at Sinbad Sports yesterday (they did a great job btw for future reference if you like that kinda stuff) and got an awesome sig on my U helmet. Just so pumped about it had to share. Gore is one **** of a Cane and his accomplishments are amazing when you look back at his career. 5th all time rushing WOW so underrated. Future HoF no doubt

I have great sympathy for his heart which is straining to keep pumping as it is. That guy’s not making it past 40 and will be a burden to his family until then.

Burden is an understatement.

• He strains the food budget
• He strains the medical bills
• He strains everyone's patience ..."Can you get me..blahblah"
• He takes away +10mpg whenever he's transported while straining the suspension
• He strains the furniture
• He strains the foundation and overall structural integrity of any building he enters.
• and finally sadly he'll strain the backs of his platoon of coffin bearers

He is the definition of what a BURDEN is......BUT he's full of unsolicited "How to get in shape" advice ...for others

Guys, When they're that obse diet has little to do with it. It takes a lot of money to get the kind of treatment they need.

Gore has skills you just can’t teach. His vision and balance, coupled with excellent speed were a pleasure to watch. It’s a shame injuries left Miami fans only seeing a glimpse of while Gore ran for The U. Imagine a two-horse backfield in 2002 with a healthy Gore and Willis.

I still wonder if he could have suited up against Ohio State in the Fiesta Bowl.
