Watching the Fins and Gore looks and plays like the freshman out of Coral Gables High did! Amazing.

Considering high school, college and pros performance combine, he has to be the BEST overall football player ever out of Dade! Some folks can say in High School Freddy Miles out of Miami Springs was better, but he never played beyond HS.

Overall considering Gore's overall career who comes close?

Derrick Thomas has to be in the conversation.
Excellent name, hated that he didn't play for the U, but excellent suggestion. A close two but I still have Gore as tops. Heck might even be the best overall football player in the state.

Like I said in another thread, you could see the greatness the second he touched the ball for us in garbage time. You could see it in high school ball too, no one just runs over Dade County defenses every week like he did.

I told someone last someone last night about taking W Virginia and the points years ago. Canes covering until they put in Frank as a true freshman. Needless to say the Canes covered with Frank running for like 150 in a quarter of action. Then he did the same thing to me against Cuse a week later I think. The legend of Frank is strong. Huge fan of #32-3-32-23.

Go Canes!

The fact that Gore is still in the League at 35 with 14k+ rushing yards after 2 acl tears in the most punishing position on offense and is STILL BALLING.....the **** is truly AMAZING. I mean have we ever seen anything like it in the NFL?

I'm watching the Dolphins game and seeing Tannehill stink it up again. Every Dolphins fan know Tannehill isn't a franchise qb. Yet, Gase loves him and the team gave him a 90 million contract. Every Cane fan can see Rosier isn't the answer, but Richt refuses to make a change. I'm starting to think that maybe football "professionals" aren't quite as smart as they think they are.

Please don't start that tired narrative. That was Tannehill's first mistake of a game that has now been going on for 4+ hours. Near perfect before that throw. If anything, you should blame Gase for calling that predictable play.

It was an atrociously placed ball. A good NFL qb either doesn't throw it or gives it more air towards the sideline so it's out of the DBs reach. That was **** near a pick 6. Near perfect doesn't mean much when the imperfect passes cost you points. I'm looking at the totality of Tannehill's career, and if you consider him a "near perfect qb", then friend, we have much different views on qbs.

And it was a good play by butler lack of physicality by the te

Brother I remember his very first carry like it was yesterday wearing the U. I made the comment to my dad, "holy ****" that kid is gonna be a legend. Glad to say I was right and then some.

Gase. Smdh. Another "offensive genius" QB whisperer. Update: I just threw up after seeing Delaney Walkers ankle

I'm friends with Frank...and Love him...
That being said...Freddie Miles is the Best HS RB to ever come outta Dade....If ya never saw Freddie play...then don't comment....
Saw Freddie Miles play multiple times, a bowling ball with speed! His legs were naturally muscular and huge and Springs was not a super power in Dade. So high school wise I would say that they are very very equal. But the question was overall all best ever in high school/college/pros combine. Freddie never made it past High School. I think Gore is the best ever overall in the state and hard to duplicate!
