Francois decommitted

Different positions & Francois is absolutely a major impact safety. A ball hawk safety w/elite cover skills at the position are rare.
No hes not. He had a lucky *** junior year and got a bunch of picks and hype. Hes a good player but hes not those guys if not he would have those schools on him.

We don’t even play those teams often, I’m not even talking about only recruiting, just winning in games in general/recruiting/fan attendance, all of it

how long you been a miami fan? fan attendance? well never draw like the big schools do on a weekly basis. winning games -- see 2017 and hope you can replicate it once or twice out of a 5 year span. thats our ceiling unless the game changes

OSU woudnt say thanks but no thanks if he were the elite of the elite. hes good but he isnt tyrique

Rumph and Banda will be here as long as Manny keep them because no one will poach them. Anyone can coach a position but what makes you valuable as position coach is your ability to recruit.

With a defensive scheme built on pass rushing and shooting through gaps any DB coach would look good. Something people don't understand.

Banda losing the top Safeties in SoFla what 4 years in a row now?

2017 - Shawn Davis
2018 - Josh Jobe
2019 - Tyrique Stevenson
2020 - Jaidon Francois

Embarrassing considering we've had 3 Safeties drafted in the last 3 years (Rayshawn, Jaquan & Redwine)
Shawn Davis wasnt no top safety man wtf are you talking about.

Lets be honest. The on field product has not been good so far. Even Bandy has regressed in coverage. I can see a DB looking here and saying no thanks

He got beat on one long TD and he regressed in coverage?

Why anyone would sign here idk the fans are terrible and don’t support their guys. Constantly throwing kids under the bus after every loss

You guys still don't get it. What makes you think this program can compete regularly with the Big DOGs in recruiting? Even if you take bags out of the equation, this program is so far removed from what y'all think it is. Program is recruiting at the level of middle of the pack program. We are right on par with where we should be. We will get lucky from time to time on some big timers who want to stay home. We have a coaching staff comprised of upstarts and buddies. Miami is equivalent to Michigan St. without the snow

Lol this dude had one foot out the whole time.

Seriously. All this chatter about how our coaches can't close.

News flash; Miami has lost 11 of its past 18 games and is on its fifth head coach in the past 14 seasons—now 99-71 since Coker's last season. It's really a shock when verbal commits bail out and wind up in Columbus, Tuscaloosa or Athens instead of Coral Gables? That's really on a Banda or a Rumph for not being able to reel in these front-running kids who want to play for an instant contender? GTFOH.

Diaz said it when he took over; the Catch 22 of needing to keep the best local talent home—needing to win first before those kids start committing, but figuring out how to win before that in order to pique their (real) interest in the first place—hence the deep dive into the Transfer Portal this off-season.

UF kicking our asses on the trail since Mullen got there, but this board was full of jokes in the offseason, the game is cold man
The gaytor fans will tell you that Mullet’s not really a good recruiter, and he ran a shîtshow in the offseason, but he’s coaching up his team and we’re not and that’s the difference.

We’ve won one title in the shîtty CoRstal in 15 years when we’ve had the most talent every year. Start coaching the talent we have appropriately and we won’t have this problem. Until then, we’re not on their level and I hate that and I hate that we keep hiring people who do the same loser shît over and over.

That’s the thing, if UM can just get it together and run a good program/team we will get better at recruiting, but we can’t'

I wouldnt say middle of the pack. We are 18th in the country in talent index and theres like 130 schools. Definitely not close to elite though. The gap between the top 6 and the rest is huge
