Francis #5 on Bruce Feldmans freak list

If Francis Mauigoa is legit - and he is - he should be starting the season opener for us. Slot him in at RT and live with it...he'll be fine. He'll figure it out.

He's Penei Sewell. Only thing that should keep him off the field is an injury or when money making season comes and he makes a business decision.

He has had RT locked since the spring

You are correct inferring that we don’t have the guys up and down the roster that we need. But everything comes easier for the freaks of nature, and this kid fits that bill through and through. Not many players, let alone freshman, will be beating his numbers when he’s an upperclassman.

Getting guys like this are what separates you from the rest of college football.

I've never seen a coach from our past hype up a freshman like this. Mario doing this to Francis which seems totally against his nature just tells you how special Francis can be. I just hope he stays at one position so he can master one position.
