Saw where they were interviewing coaches that went against us and Notre Dame, and there was 1 head coach that was heavily in favor of us. Could tell by his answers it was Fran lol. Il try to find it again

Yeah the one stating that he was playing with us for a half, while ND dogged them from the moment they got off the bus. He was working overtime trying to keep us out

Rhett is good people he’s got that SEC kinda DNA in him about conference pride… not our fault we didn’t go in to that game with urgency

“First of all, Miami beat Notre Dame, so I don’t know why Miami wouldn’t be ahead of Notre Dame,” he said. “That’s the dumbest thing that I’ve ever seen. I don’t understand that.”

The head coach added that the Hurricanes have more talent than the Irish. “Miami’s offensive line is gigantic,” he said. “Notre Dame’s O-line is good, but it ain’t Miami’s. And Miami’s defensive line is way better than Notre Dame’s. ND’s D-line is good, but it’s not Miami’s. Their D-line is ridiculous. And that’s why Miami beat them. The trenches are where it all starts.”

“(Rueben) Bain is so good, but the other guy (Akheem) Mesidor is a beast too. I think they’re both first-day (draft) guys. They are problems. If you chip one, you gotta chip ’em both.”

Miami’s defense was its undoing last year. UM hired Corey Hetherman to take over the defense and the unit has gone from No. 10 in the ACC in third-down defense to No. 3, and from No. 14 in allowing plays of 20-plus yards to No. 2.

“Heatherman does a real good job,” the head coach said. “He keeps it simple. In the past, they tried to do too much s— got too fancy. And, you still have to block them.”

Doesn’t say it’s Fran though just a head coach that played us both.

Someone check on Fran, only person having a worse day than Marcus Freeman.

Meanwhile Lashlee, was tweeting for us to get in prior to the announcement and retweeting the ACC post when we got in. He good in my book even though he beat us.
Semi related, but a SMU booster bud of mine says the big money ppl aren't too happy w Lashlee.

They see Texas Tech and Texas ATM and are pretty ****ed about their recruiting, portal management, and losing 3 plus games given the money they've been putting up.

Says another 8 win season and hes gone.

They are not happy with their current portal strategy: Miami's back-ups?
