There is a 200k tax because in the NIL World Miami is known as the team PAYING. That 200k tax would still be there if we were in the sec or big ten. The sh*tty game attendance will still be there in the acc or big 10. We are ****** VANDY in the sec which part yall dont understand ( no favors would be done)....and no one cares about the big 10 outside of the midwest....even with the usc and oregon adds...because no one watched them on this side of the country when they were in the pac 10. lol

The folks clamoring for sec are folks that reside in sec territory or big 10 territory. Ppl who actually live in s.fla for the most part could care less. We last wona championship in the BIG EAST.

I ALREADY STATED MY POINT IM COOL WITH GOING INDEPENDENT LIKE nOTRE DAME AND JUST MAKING OUR SCHEDULE OUT IF IT CAME TO IT. Folks line up to sign ten year deals to play notre dame they would do similar to us as sorry as we are our brand still has pull.

It's much bigger and there isn't much left outside of those two…And that's how all these kids see it.

And I agree the ****** game atmosphere amplifies it.

I coach these kids.

Most of them cant name more than 3-4 teams within those conferences currently.

if your winning, developing and sending kids to the nfl AND PAYING....it doesnt matter if you were in the AAC.

They'll never understand what you're saying cuz they're out of touch w how these jits actually think in 2025, they're taking how they feel n projecting it on to the kids lol.
 
I think being in those conferences is more about the rev share economics and the media draw than strictly recruiting. If we could replicate those two factors in the ACC or as an independent then great. But can we?

win the acc first before we can figure that out.

become a real factor there first..**** clemson might win the whole thing this year from the acc.

if we step our sh*t up the conference becomes more favorable.

I agree. I think Jakobe Thomas is the started at SS / Boundary safety but I do believe Day will be the back up this season and have a chance to be the starter in 26.

That's what I mean though.. It's s those are the schools that are doing most of the winning and even more of the developing.

When they see all those draft picks from those two conferences…And so few from the ACC or each individual school from ACC. They don't even do it intentionally, they just go to the schools doing it.
