Ice? As head coach? Now? Did Ryan graduate from Miami? Did he get a severe concussion while playing here?

Sorry, but it's absolutely moronic to say that Ice Harris should be head coach. Whether or not you think Golden should get fired, hiring a high school football coach with minimal college coaching experience as the head coach is laughable at best. If he wants to call for Schiano, Chud, Davis, etc. that at least would make sense.

Coley would be a way better interim HC than Al. Coley is not a technician, but his personality is much more fit to being a HC than it is a technical x and o guy.

Maybe if Coley was interim, Carroll would be our OC and use the goad**** WRs more. ******* Ronald Regula on the field while Dorsett and Waters are on the sidleine. **** is ridiculous.

Dorsett - future NFL draft pick
Coley - same
Waters - maybe

3 potential NFL WRs - how many catches? 2? outside of the garbage time

Kaaya also missed Dorsett on a long pass where Dorsett was wide open and Kaaya threw it way too far towards the sideline. Dorsett was also wide open in the flat with no one near him and a clear path to the endzone when Kaaya tried to force it in to Coley in the middle of the field. That's why Kaaya should not have been playing in the first place. He's likely going to be a great one, but there's no way he was ready for prime time.

What are your reasons for it to be "laughable" to hire ice harris as coach for university of Miami? I wanna hear this.... Explain

No experience. People whined and moped about hiring low level, non accomplished coaches in the past, then want to hire a high school head coach. Yes, laughable. Let Ice prove himself for a few years before crowning him.

There's a reason why someone like Mark D'Antonio made nine college stops over a 20+ year period before getting his first shot at being a head coach. You don't just stumble in from 11th Skreet and take over a BCS-conference program.

I think Ice Harris is a great coach, regardless of the level of football you speak of. A great high school teaches basics and fundamentals that we have for the most part lacked at UM. He is a teacher and a motivator, another thing we lack.

Gus Malzahn went for HC at Springdale High School in Arkansas to OC/QB coach at Arkansas under Houston Nutt in 2005 where they won the SEC West in 2006, in spite of conflicting offensive philosophies. Never underestimate the power of an effective teacher and coach. No one is laughing at Gus Malzahn now. No one is questioning his initial hire now. Harris has a high school résumé equivalent if not better than Malzahn.

I'm sure Miami will not seriously consider him, but he needs to stay in the college ranks and work his way to a HC position.

Jeremy Pruitt is another coach on the fast track from high school to a soon to be hired Head Coach on the college level. Pruitt is 40 years old, has three national championship rings and has been in the college ranks for 7 years.

I talked to Ryan serveral times and he absolutely hates Golden. He been calling for his head ever since his first year. He knew it would come to this. I'm assuming he had inside information from players. I told to give golden a chance and he soar Golden would kill this program just like Sapp been saying. Now I'm on the train. Get him out of Miami with this soft mentality team. It makes me sick.

Agree it's time for Golden to go. That said, what did Ryan Hill ever do?

Honestly my lasting memory of him is getting torch in the Sun Bowl. He contributed but he wasn't an all star.

I would join ISIS if it meant overthrowing Al. I wish nobody showed up for the home games and then this wine and cheese, I wanna be like Harvard, administration would get the picture. "Al Golden Must Go"
