For you hockey people

The rivalry with the Avs in the 90’s and early 00’s was a thing of beauty. So many all time great players on both side.
As a Flyers fan to this day I’m disgusted at the Lindros trade and all the talent and draft picks that walked out the door. Pretty much paved the way for those mid 90s cup runs by the Av’s.

Softball would outset men's hockey. Miami should field men's and women's lacrosse. With all the transplants, plus all the prep school kids who attend Miami, it could be very successful with a commitment. They could play at Cobb. Plus, lacrosse is picking up at the high school level in SFL. STA fields a very competitive squad.
There are some very strong programs around the state- both public and private schools. FL is positioning itself as a top tier talent state for lacrosse. For the post season they break it down into two groupings and when you get to the final four of each bracket- it's easily as good as you will see in MD or NY. And like you said- it is only getting better each year.

Jacksonville U has a D1 men's program in FL and there are now three women's D1 programs, UF-FSU-Stetson

Being born in Toronto, as a naturalized American, my rule is simple. I root for USA on grass and Canada on Ice. This has been a rough year for me watching the Blue Jays lose in extra innings game 7, the Canes lose in the Natty and now Team Canada lose in OT in the Gold Medal Game.
I’m right there with ya, except the inverse as I was born and raised in south Florida lol generational 4 month stretch of heart breaking L’s

Just remember, our Hurricanes won the D2 club NC just a few years ago. Got to see my Canes crush everyone to win it all. Alot of very good players compared to back in the 80's now. Also, a very different game back then. I was a big fan of the flyers back then and those games were as entertaining and nasty as you will ever see.

Been running arenas for the better part of the last 25 years. By far the best sport out there to see live.

I watched more hockey the last seven days than my entire life combined. That **** was so intense especially in OT I couldn’t sit down. Olympic hockey will now be a must watch going forward. Lastly taking the team picture with the kids of Gaudreau had me tearing up. Beautiful moment.
watch the NHL playoffs, it has that same energy bruh.
