For us oldtimers...

It’s natural for folks to be biased to people from their era…or who they actually saw play. And this state has had some animals at RB but an all time list for FL that doesn’t have Travis Henry in the honorable mention group is laughable .

And if we’re keeping it a buck… Sean T as a HS RB was better than a few guys on that list.
I Love Sean like nobody's business....but he wasn't better than Miles, Gore or Troy....Those guys played against much better competition than what Sean faced at Gulliver Prep...and that's not taking anything away from him.

The hardest I was ever hit in my football life was from a RB Rocky Rumnick from Miami Killian 1974 he signed with Canes but suffered from concussions so bad hospitalized constantly and had to quit football.

It was a quick trap play and I jumped the gap fast and was there all alone unblocked he hit me head on ran over bulldozed me all I could do was grab a leg .
I got up slobbering spitting mouth piece out stunned beyond compare .

I made sure never again

Rod Baker from Ely in Pompano would've been great but kept getting arrested, unbelievably talented but scum otherwise. Went to jail his senior year for multiple armed robberies. Played for Tony Russell (a thorn in our side for the Pell Grant scandal) who got Rod into several small colleges where mysteriously armed robberies started to happen.

If simply pure speed, few compare with the late Houston McTear.
Up there for the fastest name of all time as well.

I played HS ball with a Hesser McBride.
Slowest white boy TE you ever saw.
