Left a bad taste in a lot of folks’ mouths (pause). I mean I get it; he used his connect to make monetary gain & open up his own boutique fashion wear store. He did what other privileged kids did and have done for yrs. On the other hand as a sneaker head, he along w/ that former VP of Nike punk *** kids ****ed me off.

Yeah man; I thought I was a shoe collector but one of my of best friends is Baron Davis’ cousins. Saw his collection & was greatly humbled. Lol. I think I’m up to about 200 more or less, and I want to say maybe 50% of them r shoes from back in high school that I just kept in incredible condition, boxes & all.

I learned at a very young age, the key to keeping shoes pristine is cleaning the bottoms. My friends & ex wife used to look at me crazy for cleaning my shoe bottoms after each wear, but then they saw chit I had in the 11th grade still looking brand new. Keeping those soles clean preserves the life of the shoe, & keeps those mid soles from getting grimey & discolored. I have ice bottom J’s that r still ice blue in color vs. dingy yellow or tarnished like most.

Man, either Reshoevn8r sole cleaners, MGK shoe cleaner, or a little bit of Dawn degreaser soap. Gotta be careful w/ the Dawn soap though, like strategically making sure u’re cleaning the bottom b/c if u go wild w/ it, eventually it’ll break down the adhesives. Need a shoe cleaning brush or old school tooth brush.

appreciate it bro. I am going to order the cleaner online. Either one you prefer? Any other tips you have for keeping shoes clean? I do a decent job keeping my shoes clean but you know way more about it then me.

Yea, I get it. It is what it is 🤷🏻‍♂️. It’s like anything else worth having these days, resell market taking over commerce. Try getting a Rolex for retail these days. You better know somebody

Painfully true. The thing is...I can wear my rolex for years and pass it on to my son, shoes are just so transitory. The other thing is there's no craftsmanship, it's just fashion. Rolex is Rolex because they make a great product, same with other luxury watches. So even if it's out of style now, it's still a really well-made piece of machinery that has inherent value. Shoes? Not so much. But hey, I get I'm alone on this one, so you guys keep on enjoying.

Luckily got them from the raffle, TrumpyCane got Ms.TrumpyCane to also enter and she had the winning ticket

The only sneaker TrumpyCane will pay resale for are those Art Basel Jordan 1s, which will be the next purchase and the Nike SB Hulk’s which will follow
